Drill Flow
1. Divide players into 3 teams with each 5 players
2. Goalkeepers are fixed within both goals
3. A 5v2 is played in one of both fields. At the beginning there are 2 players from the green defending in one of the fields agains 5 red or 5 yellows players.
4. After 4 passes are completed, the action can be concluded with a shot on goal.
5. The following game continuations are possible:
In case of a goal: The Coach plays a new ball into the opposite field wheeras green remains as the definding team. However, in this case two new green players waiting on the side will start chasing the ball.
If no goal: The Coach plays a new ball into the opposite filed. In this case, the yellow team switches into the defending team role with 2 players quickly transitioning onto the opposite field to gain possession of the ball. The remaining players from yellow players leave the field, whereas green occupies the free field awaiting the next action triggered by the coach.
Organization
1. 2 goals in the center of the pitch
2. 3 Teams with each 5 players
4. 2 Goalkeepers
Coaching Points
1. Aggression against the ball
2. Team work amongst the defenders in order to gain possession
Variations
1. Restriction of ball contacts
2. Play with a variation of ball sizes or field size
3. Adept number of players offense or defence depnding of the game flow and objectives
