I can't help but be touched by the girl's emotional resonance and earnest rendition of the poem......nurture usurping nature in proclaiming innocent allegiance, regardless of it's controversial ideals.

The truth is... The standard of happiness is depends on every personal life, where u live, your nationality, etc...
We just cannot think these North Korean people are live in such strict life and no freedom with our basic urban democratic mind.
Or think people in Bhutan live a boring daily life without big malls or branded cafes around Thimpu? No, we cannot judge those matters based on our daily city-minded.
They live in sincere and honesty and want just pure happy life as they can achieve today.

@@GeorgeMartinus they live in an orwellian, totalitarian state that routinely lies to its citizens and commits atrocious human rights abuses similar to those of the Nazis. (Concentration camps, infanticide, multi generational punishments).
"Nurture usurping nature"? There's nothing but evil in what they're doing to these children. They would be incomparably better off living in a democracy.

It might come off as a shocker to you, but you sound (at least) as brainwashed as them.

Listening to the music in her voice is what is truly moving. I don't know what she's saying, and I don't care to read the subtitles. Somethings are just better left unsaid.

I'll say one thing, the citizens of NK have a comraradie and a team spirit that is incomparable to anything I've ever seen before. As a Westerner it's almost impossible to relate to
