2023 Ford Transit Trail 148" Campervan Roof Rack (AC, Solar, Starlink) Setup

Below should be everything I did for the roof on my 2023 Ford Transit Trail 148” Campervan. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Hardest part was probably mounting the AC. The studs were JUST BARELY long enough to mount the unit. I did email Hein at DIYVan and let him know. Luckily I had 3 roommates to help me throw it on. Definitely needed an extra hand a few other times. Roof rack wasn't too bad to install with a buddy. I was able to do the solar all by myself.

I plan on carrying a 200W "briefcase" solar panel in the back garage area of the van as well. That way on super hot days where I need a good charge due to the AC running, I'll have it deployed to get me 500W solar.
