BACH "Deposuit" from MAGNIFICAT (for Brass Trio with Piano)

Here is some compelling music by Bach-from his “Magnificat,” it is a tenor aria, “Deposuit.” The text is from Luke 1:52: “He has put down the mighty and exalted the lowly.” The original scoring is quite spare. The soloist is accompanied by only the first violins, keyboard (continuo), and a bass line. But the lines are so interesting, and the music just propels itself forward so beautifully.
