To me, the crime/drugs & homeless populations are a major con of living in Vancouver.
It has gotten worse over the last couple years. Definitely something to be improved in the city, hopefully.
Would love to move to British Columbia. I miss it. Alberta is nice, but I'm not super attached to the lifestyle here.
BC i felt was more active. Alberta is too, but the only city I truly care for really is Calgary. Youre also closer to places like Canmore and Banff if you want to go hiking. But British Columbia, i felt was easier and less distance covered to go to the mountains. Hopefully one day I can move to Burnaby
It’s an absolute luxury to have so many trails and nature literally few minutes walk away for sure
Thank you for your honest opinion about Vancouver, l live in the west end, for 36 years and coming from Toronto was a breath of fresh air, and saw the opportunity to invest in Real Estate, them buying a home was very affordable ,and my first home was a penthouse apartment on English Bay bought for $ 250 , 1000 sq. .1987, and after that got into investing more in real estate ,
So for me was the perfect place at the perfect time , l love my life in Vancouver with the best climate in the whole country , the rain is so inspire to see the green grass year around except for a snow dust washed away in a couple of days ,
Yeah l know to live in this city is uncontrollable and painful the cost of living , everything is so darn expensive, eating out is ridiculous
Dinner for two equal 3 days of food cooking at home , l can’t imagining paying 2700.00 for 1 bedroom apartment 700 sq. you really have to make 5000 or more a month but there ‘re people who pay that type of money , after tax food and entertainment nothing left to save , so I can’t see why people is leaving the country ,
Wow 36 years! What an insight Thank you for sharing! I appreciate you watching and subscribing :)
👍

I love Vancouver. I own a property there but I will not live there full-time. I prefer living in the States the majority of the time.
I can definitely understand that. What part of the states do you stay in?
@@WonbaeSon California.
Toronto vs Vancouver?
Yes Will be covering that soon! Thanks for the suggestion to let me know what you’d like to see next

The rent has gone down now
Yes It’s dropping slightly overall by a few points
By how much? What is the average. Cause I live in Calgary and was considering moving but I think I wouldn't survive
