I feel it lacks the clear line from chest to floor. so the 2nd rotation is purely legs, while the upper body does a twist to finish. not sure what youd call it with other tricking terminology like: aerial crescent twist, helecoptero hyper? still a great video.
@@diffrentcopy An aerial helicoptero hyper would look very different. Think of a 540 and sideswipe, same take off, landing and rotation but they look different due to head and chest positioning. So I agree that it’s a grey area and the chest isn’t pointing towards the ground all the way through but it’s enough for me to count. There’s a clear frame before landing where the head and chest are below the hips. I could have made it more legit as it’s an animation as well haha but we went for maximum realism 🤙🏾🧪

the illustrations in this video are incredible. admittedly its been a while since I was in my tricking prime, so I was amazed to see the helicoptero move, never seen that before and its super impressive, also Shosei's macaron is insane.
This is phenomenal content! I hope that this video essay-style content for tricking can gain some traction like it‘s doing in parkour now.
Also, the aerial helicoptero swipe/double aerial animation looks sick! Can‘t wait for someone to do it in real life. Maybe mr. Sam Kojo Tricklab himself???

you would have to bring that helicoptero leg around more; instead of a front kick or crescent; extend it to a roundhouse. boom

To be blunt technically it’s only an aerial jackknife it has the Ariel swing and one leg take off and then you swing around a second time and land on the opposite leg while spinning diagonal into a hook kick so like I said it’s only an aerial jackknife so the first person to combine an Ariel with a jack knife at the end would have been the first person to do a double Ariel

I know it's not a gymnastics or tricking move, but could you break down the difficulty of a one-handed Airflare from Bboying?
A tricking double Aerial is possible, but in my opinion I would see it from a stronger setup than juste a forward step. I would have guessed the same as you but not sure from helicoptero. However I thing the first landed in floor might first be inspired by trampoline trickers that will show the way of double flip in an aerial shape. At least the different shapes can be explored quickly in many ways on a trampoline that would take years in tricking.
