To the people acting smug in the comments: TikTok is like an advertisement for songs. People go directly from TikTok to Spotify/CZcams often. So to take away your ‘advertising’, many artists will find it hard to gain exposure, especially smaller artists. TikTok was a free way to gain exposure and not because of corporate greed, it had been taken away.
But I don’t think most independent artist are under UMG thought, so in retrospect this is better for independent artist
How is it greed to want someone to properly pay for the content they're using? Especially when that someone earns billions every year?

bro i js deleted the app cus i only go on there for audios, but as soon as i enter the app, all i see is a girl lip syncing to what seems to be a song, but the audio is replaced with those almost cartoon like songs. 😭💀💀
