I have been using ice curls for a month and I HIGHLY recommend it. Hair isnt hard and has movement. I stood in the beauty supply holding it in my hand like....do I get this or nah,,,...it was the best investment I made! 💜😊🙏🏽

After 2 hours of using ice curls my hair was soo dry? Like how come?
Ice curls is my holy grail. My hair lasts a straight 7 days. The tackiness and white cast is likely due to your leave-in.
What leave-in do you recommend? I'm trying to figure out what works with this gel because I love it and want it to work.

nightjade08 I used eden bodyworks curling cream. Hair has to be soaking and a quarter size amount for a whole quadrant. Take the cream and emulsify it in your hand then spread. You want it to my in.

I love how the don't shrink gel works on my twists. After I wash and deep condition my hair, I put on my leave in condition spray, coconut oil, then use the gel for my twists. The outcome is juicy looking thick twists. Love it.
Do you need to wash the gel out 2 or 3 days later or can you leave it in until the next wash day

THAAAAANK YOUUUUUUU so much for this video!! Aunt Jackie's is definitely the best of both worlds, great products that don't break the bank. I've tried the Don't Shrink and the Curl Boss the past few months, and just bought the Ice Curls yesterday. ICE, ICE, BABYYY!! Love the Ice Curls so much, the others are great too but Ice Curls is my favorite. Huge amount of definition, and since I air dry the volume comes in like crazy the second day.

Yeah eco dries tf out of my hair. Feels like hay the next day. If I remember correctly, protein is pretty high on the list. And I was using it a couple times every wk! Wayyyy too much protein for me. I switched to wetline, and kinkycurly.
Eco is a forever "nope" for me.
My go to gel for years has been Luster's Gel 'N by pink luster
I know I prefer Aunt Jackie's styler. Ecco Styler is too strong, too drying & too heavy for my hair. I don't know if the fact that my hair is medium fine and low porosity so I don't know if that makes a difference...

Flaxseed does actually make hair thicker overtime so I’m not surprised about it appearing to have volume

This is literally my problem. To say my hair is mega flat after I wake up is an understatement.
I have the same issues, but what I hear to do is pull your hair up into a pineapple before you put ya bonnet on

I losely wrap mine with an old white t-shirt (cut to fit) and then cover (tie) with a thin silk scarf on top. Work wonders overnight and my 4C hair stays moist and undisturbed.
iesha F.C. You can put your hair in four pony tails 2 in the front and 2 in the back to keep stretch hair and put your satin cap on.

So the ice curls elongated your curls and the no shrink shrunk your curls. I’m not surprised about the Aunt Jackie’s don’t shrink product. I used that with my hair was naturally curly like yours and it pretty much did nothing. I had never heard of the ice curls however. Shea Moisture and Taliah Wajid were the only 2 products that worked for my curly mane.

My issue is that so far I've alone used the curl la la, by rodding my hair and after 2 days on my 4c hair my roots look like puffy dreadlocks (out grown) 🤣🤣 dear lord

Both are cute. I have never been able to achieve this look with my 4c hair and I don't like the feeling gel in my hair though.
This CZcamsr I just watched claimed to have 4b/4c and her hair was more defined than this so I'm extremely confident.

I prefer the flaxseed side. Been peeping that gel (I have the deep condish), but gotta buy the "quad" before using it - cleanser, deep/condish, moisturizer, styler.
If the ice gel is anything like TMC crystal orchid, I gotta pass. Not sure exactly what it is, but after using the entire jar, multiple different ways, I'm just not a fan.

I Been using aunt Jackie products since 2015 it does wonders on my hair but my hair does shink a lil lol but since I been in Florida its hard to find ughhhh but u showed me something new I got too find that ice curl....i use the aunt Jackie everything I don't use nothing else and it keeps my hair flawless thank you for video put me on game
The Walmart’s in Florida have it. I bought some in July when I was there on vacation. Or you can order from amazon.

I often find it kind of hard to find the ice curl one a lot of the stores he don't have it. Not the 5 supply stores or Target or Walmartthat are near me. And this quarantine shut down isn't helping. I afraid I may have to cut all. Y hair off because of it. Natural hair care products are annoyingly expensive a d certain one are harder to find in my area of the stl

I bought the holding glue for edges and it flakes like badly I'm super disappointed bc it was a bit pricey 😑
It flaked on my hair too, but the gel is amazing just wish it had more hold
The best product for edges is plain ole beeswax. It is inexpensive, more natural than any edge product, is heavy enough to slick hair even when placed atop product, doesn't flake, and I simply wet my edges every night to dilute it; then use again the next day.
