For me it was not legends first campaign i watched but that campain got me hooked to legends channel. No other CZcamsr went that aggressive! Still worth watching in my opinion :)
Attila is an excellent Total War game.
Excellent is a bit of a stretch but definitely better than most of the shit they've released recently.
It is probably the most underrated of the series. Rome gets more coverage, but really Atilla covers such a huge range of territory and time. Hell it even goes far enough to act as an early Medieval game with the DLC.
And honestly it may have the best campaign AI. I'm sure they cheat as they all do but they do a great job fighting you, each other, and keeping games interesting.
Thank you for the historical video. You're the only entertaining total war personality, and when you only post warhammer, I'm left watching old videos. You're amazing at what you do, and I'm glad you're able to support your family with it.
I like the Attila map. There's something wild, dark and mystical about it.
Watching the OG WRE this is total war campaign years ago was I realized Legend is on another level at Total War.

as long as you do it in the privacy of your own home we wont judge
Rome 2 is still my favourite. DEI mod made the standard campaign much more enjoyable.

@@MsSirAndy A heavily flawed game that was virtually unplayable at its launch and still has some major problems that have never been fixed because CA is lazy and doesn't care about their own game. The problems are not just bugs or stuff like that, the game is flawed to it's core and no patches or mods will ever be able to fix a formula that doesn't fit together.
@@MsSirAndy The problem with Rome 2 is that it only became really good after most people - except some excentrics like us - stopped playing it. IMHO, both "Divided Empire" and "Augustus" campaigns are brilliant, the latter perfectly working with DEI mod.
Glad to see you play Attila. I understand it’s place on most people’s list of Total War games but I still enjoy it every now and then.
I have spent many hours playing the Western Roman Empire in this game and I watched Legends this is total war run on this faction twice. I cannot hold up to his performace, yet I am not bad at the game either.
That being said: his choice to invest in minor sanitation buildings, in my modest opinion, is not optimal. Instead build the waterworks line in the main city. Of course, it costs you Money, but you will make that money back by having one more space left in both minor settlements for agriculture AND at the same time you are making food surplus, which will enable you to optimize the colosseum and governor house line. This works like a charm if converting back to Roman paganism, but is also more profitable when staying Christian.
However, it is a detail and it obviously also works the other way. Just wanted to mention it…

Idk if you read these... I started a Yvresse campaign on vh/vh, you have a 1 day stream back in WH2 but searching YT I can't find any streams covering Eltharion in WH3.
Would love to see a stream keeping both starting points, or how you expand surrounded by these aggressive factions.

4:15:00 "Vote with your wallet, don't buy it." The thing about Escape from Tarkov, that's only half the issue, the other half is being duped for what we already paid for. They are stripping features that by their own contract, the customers are entitled too. We paid three times as much for a special edition, 150$, that promised ALL future Content drops, except this content, because they said so, need to pay another 100$ for it. They even went back and changed the text on the purchase of that special edition to backtrack their own statements. Just not buying isn't enough, they need to be held accountable somehow.
This is equivalent to CA saying on WH3 release, well, you have WH and WH2, And we told you the factions you already have are able to be played in Immortal Empires, but we decided you still need to again purchase the DLC you already own at a price twice what it was before in order to play the WH/WH2 factions in Immortal Empires. And if you don't, you can still play, but only multiplayer. lol
And it's relevant, cause I know people, ie. me, who didn't play WH and barely played WH2 at the end of it's life cycle, bought the other games plus DLC bundle on sale just because I knew the investment was good for the epic three game map in Immortal Empires. Then they say, no.
Unfortunately, like TW, there is nothing on the market like EFT, it's a fantastic game ran by asshats.

A bit late but in Attilla, basically if a province has low approval and a general garrisons it theres a chance for the unpopular line of traits. Opposite is also true
Hey, wanted to play Attila for the 1. time, but the freezes in battle very often, without any reason. Is there any fix for that bug?

In my opinion: In the late game, with my building order, I still have a spot for industrial buildings and gold is at least better than the other options as long as you have access to gems because 15% on trade tariffs is quite good.
Still its frustating to lose 50-70% of the income because of corruption.
Combine a gouvernor, increase the trait reducing corruption every chance you get (I play in German language, so I`m not sure what it`s called in English) and a spy, that reduces corruption. Then the provinces with gold get quite profitable. However, corruption usually only gets an issue, when you grow big. When you grew big, one province making a lot of gold is not as impactful, as it would be when you are small (cause you usually optimize or at least started to optimize the other ones too)... I usually play it safe and get my money rather from public order buildings and agriculture, than from other ones. With the exception of the food market.

Yes, but it is far more difficult than in Rome 1. Also has a better reward as huns get bonus damaging morale of christian factions, while pagans are not affectes.

You should do a challenge with this campaign where u dont abandon any settlement at all and not lose a settlement until the end of the game. It would be extremely hard no doubt but I believe you can do it.

The saviour or the last emperor of Rome?
It seems that the « unpopular » trait (and its variants) is linked with the fact of entering a settlement with low public order (or leveling up while governinig a province with low public order). By low I mean less than 0. Maybe being too far from the borders of the empire can cause it: not sure about that.
Also Honorius was a bad emperor and the game tries to show it…
Just where are the darn walls? Where are the gates? Why are they all poorly defended villages?
Why do I feel the rome 2 units look better than Attila?
Unit variety and shield patterns are better in Rome 2. In Attila they look like the same.
This is why I don’t plat Attila. Cheese tactics allow victory in absurd situations.
Finally, an actual total war game, not some wizard magic BS.
