Tasted great! It was better than any pumpkin/squash soups that I've made in the past. Instead of using beef broth, I made a vegetable broth to substitute.
Awesome video! Can't wait to try this recipe! I didn't even know that sweet potatoes could grow well in Oklahoma! Too cool! Looking forward to more of your videos, Cheers!
they don't do great in clay-heavy soil - you have to amend it or grow in a box garden or inside hay bales (there are several youtube videos on how to do this)
Here are a couple of OSU factsheets abut growing sweet potatoes: Garden Planning Guide- extension.okstate.edu/fact-sheets/oklahoma-garden-planning-guide.html Nitrogen/pH Requirements for the soil: extension.okstate.edu/fact-sheets/soil-test-interpretations-for-vegetable-crops.html Sweet Potato Production: extension.okstate.edu/fact-sheets/sweet-potato-production.html Hope that helps! Can Channa instead of the peas ?
i really like this keep up the good work!
Do I have to peel them?
Yes. She is using peeled sweet potatoes.
This looks like a great recipe, except for the beef broth. I’ll use vegetable broth instead.
Thanks for tuning in! Happy Gardening!
