Those insurance companies get to me. That had to be a hard interview, hard to watch. Your so good at that. Sweet little guy. I had polio so that's all I knew, but Talon was a regular mischievous little boy and I wonder what he does remember. Anyone who has such a life changing event in the midstream of their life that does such physical destruction is unimaginable. My disability is nothing compared to LIS did not mean to compar.

My prayers go out to this family. Including Talons father.
He isn't mentioned in the interview other than being there during the accident and it is none of my business. And I don't think I can even begin to imagine how he must feel.

Gradual spontaneous recovery is something that happens with this syndrome. Couple that with his brain being so young and having such a long time where it’ll still be developing, AND add in regular therapies and a supportive family who keeps Talon’s brain active…I don’t know. I have some high hopes for talon. Might not be for five years. Maybe ten. Maybe 15. But people, ADULTS, have regained abilities after a decade or more with this syndrome. A developing brain and all this support must be meaningful.

This is exactly why the American Academy of Pediatrics advises that children and teens under 16 years old should not ride or drive ATVs. Children under 16 account for 40% of ATV fatalities and accidents in the US. It’s estimated that about 4 kids go to the ER every hour for an ATV-related injury.

I pray that maybe he can overcome this and be able to move more as he gets older-- I understand it may not be possible with locked-in syndrome. I'm praying for you Talon, you are such a strong kid.

His family has a lot of strength. I feel the pain his mother has dealt with. I wish him the best life he can. It’s an impossible situation because you don’t really know if he wants to live in this vegetative state but you want to keep him alive. Very hard life for him.

I pray with him and sing to him every night. It heals my broken heart when he opens his eyes responding to my voice.

It's great that he's already been showing improvements and y'all have been able to access therapies for him! The ability of the human body and brain to heal itself is remarkable, especially for kids! Best of luck to this sweet family! 🙏❤

As a mother, this was very emotional to look into another mothers reality. Your such a strong mother and family. And Talon is so strong, and knows he is home with his loving family 💚💚💚When family's and individuals share their stories on this channel it helps so many others who are going through the same thing and to help educate those who are hearing about conditions for the first time or may have only known very little.

What a strong child and family. This is one of those accidents that feels unreal because it’s so unfair, nobody deserves this. I feel so sorry for them. I hope Talon and his family never gives up. He will always be loved and cared for throughout all of the hardships. What a terrible accident. It will forever affect them, and it’s so unfair. But they are so strong. They help each other and thats beautiful. They just show how much love and strength can exist inside a single person. They’re all shining bright with love and strength, I wish I could be their friends❤️

I let out an audible whimper and had to stop watching when she mentioned the accident and how he wasn't always this way. Parenthood has changed me.
Blessings to Talon, to his loving family, and to the owners of this important channel.
