Man I miss the old days of the local barber with my father. The lather machine, straight razor shaves, hot towels. Smoking. The smell of Clubman and Gericide. Playboys...lol. Definitely felt like a man's world. Granted the barber did very simple haircuts and lost his touch over the years.
One barber in my town still does all of these things on Sat. Saturday is for the boys only and even has great coffee and free fresh bakery donuts and gives you a machine massage with an orbital. I always tip him much extra. His name is Bob too.
