Russian fighters are never sloppy. Their mechanics are text book perfect. With the exception of Kovalov their not entertainers. Their all business & put their body into their punches. They don't waste time sizing up without counters. They've studied their opponents fights before they even met them. They already know their strategy & don't need 6 to 8 rounds to figure it out. The actions from the start. For me their fun to watch. Beterbiev is gonna crush Marcus Brown, but he's gonna have a tough time with Canelo if they should meet. I'd love to see that fight.
The only way I see Berbetiev having a hard time against Canelo's if he accepts to fight with a rehydration clause like Kovalev did. If not I think that's a huge mismatch for Canelo, he doesn't belong to 175 and I don't even think he has a chance against Benavidez.
I think Bivol will beat Canelo, giving him 60-70 % chance of winning on my score card, but he has to completely outclass him to get an actual victory, even more so than usual because of the upcoming GGG triology, and that’s a hard task…

Canelo likes to have long fights and end his matches by round 10 and he have fought 58 professional fights, imagine the amount of experience he has now, and also without taking in concideration the world class sparrings he gets. Both have almost the same age but Bivol is a kid to Canelo mentally. Between Kovalev, Bivol and Beterbiev (all of them the same weight category), Kovalev was the greatest with more experience and bigger fights under his belt and lost to Canelo in a nasty KO

After Loma, who naturally belongs to 126, lost to Teofimo, who is a huge guy in 135, in 115-113 type of fight with his right shoulder dislocated, they put Loma below Teofimo in the list, so I guess when Canelo, who was naturally a 160 fighter but is now a little bit small dude in 168 with the beef, got completely outclassed by Bivol, who is a small 175, Canelo should be placed below Bivol in the list… What do you think ? In my criteria, it’s about resume and how good you are in your natural weight class, so I would say 1. Usyk 2. Crawford 3. Loma 4. Canelo 5. Spence and Fury, Beterbiev, Bivol, Shakur, Inoue, and Chocolatito deserves the 6-10 spot.
I’d never heard of Bivol until he fought Alvarez. But I was so impressed by his discipline and defense encounters that I had to go watch his previous fights. I’m hereby nicknaming this dude “The Decision”. At first clients he seems like the type of fighter who has never been knocked out and who will also never knock anybody out. He just scores points for 12 rounds and wins by decision

That guy had no answer for any of that. His attempts made sense though. The only two things I don’t like about Bivol, is he moves in a straight line when he attacks (forward then straight back) repeat. He moves laterally but doesn’t really use his offense when doing so. He can’t fight off the back foot when he’s pressured although he does maintain composure which is good. The second thing is he doesn’t attack the body. He’s primarily a head hunter. If he’d attack the body half as many times as he attacks the head, his opponents would be going down much faster and his fights would not have to go as long. Other than that, I do enjoy watching him land one twos all night.
@@emmanuelquerol Bivol is very rarely going for the body. That's his tendency. With that power, he should've knocked most of his opponents if he targeted the body more. No doubt that Bivol has the power to hurt his opponents, but some guys have a really strong chin and head movement.

Anybody else notice that bivol doesnt throw any uppercuts? In this fight in particular he was in range and had openings but instead favors a right hook or left jab. Hes still a beast, just found it curious
Although pascal got handled easier you can tell bivol had to watch out for that blistering speed he possesses and huge power. Bivol is just brilliant at darting in and out keeping you honest with that jab he’s trouble for anyone.
Canelo can make whatever adjustments he wants and even take the fight at 168 and Bivol will still win, and he may even look better than the first fight.

Russian fighters are never sloppy. Their mechanics are text book perfect. With the exception of Kovalov their not entertainers. Their all business & put their body into their punches. They don't waste time sizing up without counters. They've studied their opponents fights before they even met them. They already know their strategy & don't need 6 to 8 rounds to figure it out. The actions from the start. For me their fun to watch. Beterbiev is gonna crush Marcus Brown, but he's gonna have a tough time with Canelo if they should meet. I'd love to see that fight.
The only way I see Berbetiev having a hard time against Canelo's if he accepts to fight with a rehydration clause like Kovalev did. If not I think that's a huge mismatch for Canelo, he doesn't belong to 175 and I don't even think he has a chance against Benavidez.

Bivol has no experience because very little fights and he havent fought anyone good.
Canelo likes to have long fights and end his matches by round 10 and he have fought 58 professional fights, imagine the amount of experience he has now, and also without taking in concideration the world class sparrings he gets.
Both have almost the same age but Bivol is a kid to Canelo mentally.
Between Kovalev, Bivol and Beterbiev (all of them the same weight category), Kovalev was the greatest with more experience and bigger fights under his belt and lost to Canelo in a nasty KO

I’d never heard of Bivol until he fought Alvarez. But I was so impressed by his discipline and defense encounters that I had to go watch his previous fights. I’m hereby nicknaming this dude “The Decision”. At first clients he seems like the type of fighter who has never been knocked out and who will also never knock anybody out. He just scores points for 12 rounds and wins by decision

That guy had no answer for any of that. His attempts made sense though. The only two things I don’t like about Bivol, is he moves in a straight line when he attacks (forward then straight back) repeat. He moves laterally but doesn’t really use his offense when doing so. He can’t fight off the back foot when he’s pressured although he does maintain composure which is good. The second thing is he doesn’t attack the body. He’s primarily a head hunter. If he’d attack the body half as many times as he attacks the head, his opponents would be going down much faster and his fights would not have to go as long. Other than that, I do enjoy watching him land one twos all night.

Although pascal got handled easier you can tell bivol had to watch out for that blistering speed he possesses and huge power. Bivol is just brilliant at darting in and out keeping you honest with that jab he’s trouble for anyone.
Canelo can make whatever adjustments he wants and even take the fight at 168 and Bivol will still win, and he may even look better than the first fight.
