I was sitting here missing my dad who I lost in October. Thinking about how two of the places we’d spent so much time on at Bob Hall Pier and Copano Bay Pier are gone now when your video popped up. Every time I see one of your videos it reminds me of my dad and I feel like he’s watching with me but then the song at the end really hit me. Thank you sir for putting these videos out. I know how you feel. I grew up going every summer to Port A and always went surf fishing with my dad in the mornings. In the evenings, we'd go to one of the t-head piers in the channel. Don't even know if you can drive down that way any more.

Man! I’ve seen one hooked on a spook in the surf. Hard to be prepared for a tarpon when you’re fishing those guts for trout and reds!

Dude, ya gotta bow to the king, when a tarpon is on the line. Point your rod down when they jump. Otherwise, they’ll throw tje hook.
I always forget to do that as actually I thought it was a Ladyfish at first
