Yeah, dating is all about seeing if you are the right fit for each other, do you agree on things like politics and religion, is she going to be the right kind of wife who will serve and submit to you while meeting your children, is your husband going to be the kind of man who beat you in love and not domineer you, that's what dating is about. If you're dating for anything more than 3 years, then why are you dating? With that being said, while you are dating it's important to show each other what you are going to be like within the marriage, so it is important in my opinion for the man to act as the head of the relationship, and the woman to act in service and submission, but it's definitely never going to be the same degree as it would be within the marriage because you two are not one yet. You don't have a shared Bank account, you don't live together, you don't necessarily have the same friends, your parents might not even know each other yet, so I would say yes the man should be the head in a dating relationship as well, but it's never going to be the same degree as it would when you're married
