I have been SEARCHING for a teaching on wives submitting to husbands that was proper and just listening to this, I literally can feel the SPIRIT of God, the love of God and for each other. This was not a show. It was truly the heart and mind of God. Thank you sooooo much for this teaching. I feel confident!

It’s not the conversation that is misunderstood but the tone that could be misused and overshadowed by personal emotions of one or both parties involved.

This is such a hard topic for me to listen to, as a single woman. The word "submission" is very off-putting to me and I don't know how to fix that, but this is a good place to start. Listening to the two of you discuss this as a loving team was helpful! I definitely agree it is biblical and therefore necessary, but seeing the marriages of my parents and a lot of my closest friend's parents where the Christian Man ruled the house in a way that was toxic, hurtful, neglectful and/or petty or abusive has really scared me in regards to relationships. I know as a Christian I will have to submit if I get married, and that terrifies me and I feel reluctant to even pursue dating, because I don't want to get trapped. I feel grieved about giving up on the idea of marriage, but I feel fear has closed the door. Even if you find a seemingly good Christian man, people can/do backslide, or pretend to be someone they are not, and then you are stuck for life. I don't know how to overcome this, other then wait for God to work a miracle or accept that maybe I am supposed to stay single
Hi. I hope this help you and I hope you find contentment, peace and joy about marriage and dating in this reply. There’s a lot of places in the New Testament about marriage and a wife submitting to her husband. Here’s the thing. Ephesians 5:22-32 (and in the other books as well) is not about marriage between a man and a woman. It’s not about a wife submitting to her husband. It’s not about behaviour. It’s all about Christ and the church. Specifically the mystery. Some people get stuck at verse 22 and run with it. They should be getting stuck at verse 32, run with that and enjoy the revelation of the mystery. It’s about Christ and the church. Verse 32. It’s not about a husband and wife. God Bless. Submission for the women to the man, because you trust his judgment and the man just honor you respect and love you.
It's more about yielding rather than submitting. The whole submitting vs dominance thing is reserved for adversaries.
Hey sis, pray about submission and allow The most high to place that in your spirit and your heart. Pray that The most high sends you the man that you need in your life and submit to The most high will.. Stay patient, praying, fasting and single until The most high presents your husband to you. You will submit naturally and you won’t even think about it..✨🪷 Shalom..
Maybe one day you will find a man you truly trust and respect and you will want to submit to his leadership. It will be scary, but I pray you will find strength to allow him to lead. Submission is a choice, and it’s choosing to allow yourself to be vulnerable. I am a man but I have heard that when women find a good, Godly, strong man and they submit to him, they feel safe and loved. Don’t allow your fear to hold you back, all the greatest joys of life are behind that fear. Love is always risky, because your heart is on the line, but a life of avoidance and stagnation is not one to aspire to
I’m studying what the Bible says about being a wife and as I got to Ephesians the submission scripture jumped out at me. I never had a problem with it but I realize that as I’m called to minister this to other women, I may run into women who DO have a problem with it. So I asked God to lead me to a message that He has already put forth into the Earth about this topic that I can glean from. And for me to know it’s a good, Godly word. I opened CZcams and this message was at the top of the list. I scrolled past to look at all the options but I felt led to listen to YOURS! And I’m so glad I did! My biggest take away is that God intended us to live out mutual submission.
Then I did a deep dive on your ministry and can’t wait to listen to your God math series! Thank you guys for being obedient and putting this word out. It blessed me in November 2023!

When I have seen other videos they just say the same generic thing oh you have to submit but you guys ask okay but how ? Why don’t they wanna submit ? you guys question each other and try understand why that is . And you guys also learn from one another and see a different perspective while making this video. You have no idea how much this helped me. I’ve struggled with power and submission and not understanding the view. My father was incarcerated and the relationships I’ve seen always had the women in control and this definitely changed my perspective. I just thank God for changing my perspective and for you answering the call 🙏

i used to be very very combative when it came to the idea of submission UNTIL I really truly entered in relationship with God and saw God as my provider and had instances where He showed love to me in ways that were absolutely unfathomable. So there’s something beautiful about meeting a man who exhibits the love, care, attention to detail the way that God has shown me in real life…who wouldn’t want to come under that mission?!! I WOULD LOVE to meet someone with vision, passion, ingenuity, compassion and intelligence. I am now looking forward to it

Help, y’all 😢 been married for 3 months now and have been having a super hard time submitting. My dad was a chill guy, never been a real leader, and I have been single and independent for so long. Always making decisions for myself and having to support myself through so much. Now comes natural to do everything on my own and not listen to my husband 😭😭
