My father had this car for many years. It was fully specked out with all the driving assistance packages, adaptive headlights, panorama roof etc. and this car is just sooooo AMAZING. The car was built like a tank and was just a tank.
Have basically the full package as well, can't say what missing.. the 4 zone climate.. But about mentioning being like a tank - what you say about airmatic? If it works.. that's awesome. But if some issue, you better have workshop in your pocket. How's the maintenance so far for airmatic?
@@christeder Airmatic usually lasts around every 80,000~ 100,000km in normal driving conditions and there are many OEMs and aftermarkets like Bilstein or Arnott.
@@subsonicdna it's decent. I drive around 20k per year. Have experiences with Arnott, don't know about Bilstein. Considering the km then it should last like 4-5 years. Well... usually things go bad when warranty expires

Check engine light is iluminated. Perhaps the EGR valve needs some cleaning, and the intake runner and intake shutoff ports too.

Very nice! Hey everybody! I won the Mercedes W212 lottery!!! I asked them to look at the subframe during last week's annual. They took photos, sent them to Stuttgart, and Stuttgart said replace it on subframe warranty. I'll buy all the arms and joints and new shocks, they provide subframe and two days of labor. 1500 euro for a brand new rear end suspension complete. Only the rolling parts stay original and they are all fine. I'm hoping a car enthusiast will share my joy and understand how good it feels when a car you love gets rebuilt for 20% of the full cost. I keep sharing my good luck with my family and they look at me like I'm an idiot wasting their time. Instead of investing the 6000 euro I don't have to pay for subframe and labor into my family, I'm going to book a tropical vacation for myself by myself. Club Med in Mauritius sounds about right. That's enough for 21 days all in!

Hydraulic IIRC, unless the facelift introduced electronic assist steering.

A to utrzymanie że drogo na jakiej innej marce się wzorujesz? Bo ten model Mercedesa rekordzista zrobił 680tys km widziałeś kiedyś w swoim" tanio" utrzymanym aucie tak przebieg? Przelicz wszystko

Edit: I also just realised the engine warning light. If its holding the gears for too long, it's DPF is probably blocked. But seriously it needs to be checked out!
@@mearetom u clearly don't know much about mercedes if u just said that. It says its inoperative which means that it is not functioning properly. My dad used to own a w204 and I used to do some work to the mechical faults. His stability, traction and abs stopped working since then the car said it was inoperative. Then guess what! He went to a mechanic and had to get his drive shafts replaced. And oh yeh his dpf is blocked which caused the engine warning light to go on

Za kilka dni takiego bede oglądał i prawdopodobnie kupie. Pytanie!!! Jak sie sprawują te skrzynie. Co prawda egzemplarz ktorego jade obejrzeć ma tylko 80k przebiegu ale planuje go użytkować dość długo. Jak te auta sprawują się przy przebiegach rzędu 200k i więcej??

@@Samurai__Jack no właśnie skrzynia silnik zawieszenie. Niby to tylko b47 2.0d ale mi to wystarczy ale w zestawieniu z tą skrzynią 8 biegów i zawieszeniem m sport jest super. Chociaż auto słabo wyposażone i plastiki też takie sobie

It's the same in my cls w218 2017 restyling, it turns red and makes a beep when someone approaches in your blind spot.
@@andreadecapitatore9782 never heard this type of indication. If I understood well it is always orange, and when a car is arriving it turns red and makes beep, doesn't it?

Se sei italiano praticamente la luce rimane sempre accesa ma di colore giallo, diventa rossa appena una macchina entra nel tuo punto cieco e vieni avvertito anche da un allarme, come quando ti avvicini troppo ad una macchina durante la marcia o come quando sei vicino ad un ostacolo mentre parcheggi
