This is genuinely the only app that I've seen that uses AI tools correctly. The only other apps I've seen either use no AI shortcuts for anything or straight up impliment an AI image generator. But autopaint is just... chefs kiss. I can do my flat colours in record time and get right on to shading and lighting

I now decided to draw sketches in paper and then do the line art in the app and also learn to color it which helps me a lot since i am used to drawing in paper

I use ibis paint cause it's free but I'm not good at editing so this will help me so much, and I can spend more time with detailed sketches and line art rather than worrying about rushing to get the coloring done.
It would be fun if ibis paint could be animated like procreate

I used to have trouble with that. It takes a lot practice to do. It can take months or years

I’m always amazed at how lightly Misa-Kun does her lines, since I also (I assume she does too)use a touch sensitive screen and the same brush... and I do my lines a lot thicker.
And I love Misa-Kun, I give her credit for my artistic ability and improvement.

Hmm... If you put too much marker on your drawing while using auto paint, the colors will mess up. Same as if you put a marker on the lines. And sometimes the color mixes up in some random area. Also it is better for starters to straight manual coloring than with auto paint cause it will just confuses you on what to do with the colors.

If you can't see the sketch in a light color you can:
Switch your brush to felt tip pen . Add another layer on top of the sketch.put the brush at it's maximum size and color over the sketch on the second layer.then put the opacity to 30.drag the layer to the very bottom(so the sketch is on top of that layer).then the sketch is easier to see

Another thing you can do:
Just add layer and clip to sketch layer, and then maximum brush size and fill the cliped layer on top and then your line color are change to what ever you want... (remeber to use different color for this trick not your line color)
Anyway... I hope this was helpful for another artist

The auto paint works good if you want to give some depth to a drawing. personally I will likely use it as a layer over somthing I've already colored just to give some variation. I like a cleaner look so the paint bucket tool works fine for me. I wouldn't really reccomend using this as a way to color the art, but if you have difficulty with shadows and lighting, this can be great way to boost those features. Thank you for the tutorial, I didnt know how to use this color feature till now and will definitely give it a try
