    My brother…that trailer is awesome. I’m still using my 1998 24’ custom built tilt trailer, but it’s paid for! I can’t see getting a new trailer until I get a new truck. Using a 2018 Chevy 2500 for now, but looking to get a new set-up probably next year.

      53 fort Simone c out of the box is too expensive for hotshot but used for 33k when people are getting 40foot for 30k. I think that’s a smart investment. Especially because the GVWR on it is 40k lbs. Also we have to keep i mind a brand new truck with brand new Diamond C still is a small investment compared to a semi. It’s all about ROI and when you start picking up at places that o Lu accept 53’ trailers you start to see why semi trucks are on the road and they make the big bucks.

    • @Thepedell
      @Thepedell Před 6 měsíci

      @Babylionhotshot no it's not that's just wrong. A used semi trailer is cheaper than a diamomd C I have both especially loaded out ones when a semi has air ride, you can't consistently find a loaded diamond for cheaper. A used semi is cheaper than a newer truck. You can get a 2018 cascadia for way less than any new pickup and it will last longer. A brand new cascadia is more but if you're buying a new semi and not a big company you're an idiot.

      No way you will make 10k with or without cdl. Average loads are 1.60 a mile. You can only drive 11 hours a day. 3k miles a week. Stop getting people thinking that. You'll make on a good week 5k don't forget you have 1500 a month in insurance 1300.00 for truck. 1000 for trailer. You'll need to eat that's 700.00 a month you take home 2k a week if you do it right. That's still great money 8k a month just don't think you'll make killer money then be disappointed. And it's not easy. You'll be in the truck 24/7 if I'm wrong show you're bol prove you make 10k a week and I'll sell my trucks and come work for you. Or have a class on what to do right.

So it’s was in total 120k$ and I plan on having them both paid off by when my truck reaches 200k miles. So that comes out to be a 6k$ payment every 10k miles. I have been keeping up with a decent rate per mile and just made my first 6k$ payment. It hurt but it now or later. Im at 12k miles on the truck already.

    If you’re having to ask the guy what you can make, you obviously didn’t do your research, once again lol. I hope you’re gonna do good, but man oh man 😅

      Well we will see that for sure. And I’m definitely putting the real numbers out good or bad.

    The bigger the trailer the less weight you can haul I do not understand your reasoning by getting a bigger trailer and pulling it with a pickup truck.

    I don't like the fact non-cdl hotshoters can get away with adding length and weight and still don't have a CDL

    Why not get a semi tractor instead if you are gonna do CDL anyways? Is it for the MPG or something? You can get a semi truck used that rated for way more for cheaper than a new 550 that’ll likely last longer. You need a class A for this anyways

    • @Babylionhotshot
      @Babylionhotshot  Před rokem

      Okay so if you want to find loads I use Truckstop.com. but they are goin to want you to have a motor carrier authority. so you just have to go on the FMCSA website and register for that. its 300$ easy and then you can get insurance and a subscription to a load board but insurance is expense so look into getting a quote with progressive before anything. Good Luck Alejandro

      @@rapidcarriers1111 okay so I’m going to tell you as much as I can. Google 1 day CDL and start making calls. They are out there and probably in SC. The one I found was in Iowa. It’s kinda a drive for you but I just got a hotel when I got there. Still a lot cheaper then 5k$. Hope that pointed you in the right direction. If you want the exact place I went to and they know that I send people I talk to their way; you have to call me for the number. Link is in the description. But I can unload some more secrets I know of too. But you should be able to find someone close to you by googling around your area and making phone calls. Thanks Rapidcarriers
