5:55 i love how the suit clearly knows peter is aware of what it is. So it doesn’t need to hide itself anymore. It just goes all out in enticing peter with outrageous levels of power and miracles in order to take control. It knows peter doesn’t trust it nor does anyone around them trust it so it has to tempt and convince peter to keep using it much faster if it wants to take control. Peter made the mistake of letting the suit back in and its not gonna waste this second chance.
In one of the unused lines, Peter speculates that the symbiote saved him from Venom, but wonders why it did so.
@@KIRIspideyeven more evidence of the suits intention. It knows what’s coming and sees an opportunity for Peter to be at an extremely low and vulnerable point where he gets more desperate to find a solution. A solution the black suit is more than happy to provide, for a price.
I love how insanely overpowered he is. Shaba Games really paid attention to how powerful Spider-Man truly is and his canonic superstrengths and superabilities. They really unleashed the beast.
This game really made spiderman feel powerful and the use of the blacksuit made you feel completely badass. Its mainly because web of shadows had a gritty dark storyline.

i think it was the favourite for everyone. espeically since u unlok it very late game (i think right after the shield base attack mission). this game did symbiote spider-man and red spider-man so well i have actually 0 hoep that Insomniac will be able to top it. They will do their own spin, but this game has the best gameplay easily

You can tell this was made by the same people who made Prototype, actually this was partially why we got Prototype! Activision originally wanted to make a Venom Game but since they were already working on Web Of Shadows they decided to create an entirely new but similar character and thus we got Alex Mercer.
so SHABA game employees worked on prototype even though SHABA got shut down after prototype got released... don't think so... but we do know that the cancelled spiderman 4 game was built from using the 1st prototype game assets with the minimap and the button icons being the exact same.... if spiderman 4 as a project never got cancelled and Raimi when along with it then Spiderman 4 wouldve rivaled WoS combat and perhaps even traversal

Still it’s crazy and hard to believe how insane his moves are in WOS and apparently the enemies aren’t actually “dead”. He literally chokes enemies until the symbiote explodes their heads. That’s a way to DIE.

Not to mention how insanely nerfed Insommiac Spider-Man is compared to WoS Spider-Man who has way more powerful moves and casually kicks everyone's behinds like Bruce Lee fighting a pillow.

Peter Parker even without the symbiote, can do insane (almost Dragon Ball tier) combos even more powerful than Miles’ due to the fact that Peter is SIGNIFICANTLY FASTER and PHYSICALLY MORE POWERFUL as evidenced in the comics, Web of Shadows, and some cartoons. All Miles really does is shock weak people plus just normal Spider-Man moves, while Peter Parker even if he doesn’t have a venom blast, he manages to punch villains like 100 times in 5 seconds, and if he stops holding back, he could straight up punch through everyone’s skulls. If Peter can carry a crumbling chunk of the Daily Bugle building by himself, then imagine how powerful he is when he fights and does not hold back at all? He’s even staggered out the Hulk and Juggernaut before by himself.

This game, in my opinion, has a way better combat system than even Insomniac Spiderman. Mainly because of the emphasis of him using his web attacks in combination with his moves especiallywith te symbiote suit its raw. In the Insomniacs version, I feel like he relies too much on his gadgets.

It's crazy how people worship Insomniac like a god while all they did for the symbiote in Spider-Man 2 is literally just 5 repetitive R1 abilities while Web of Shadows have a whole combo system built-in with actual cool moves. Hell, you can't even switch to black suit from red suit or vice versa during gameplay.
Spider-Man 2's combat system is 7/10 at best.
@@PLYTATN exactly lol and most of the shit they used is literally reused from WOS and shattered dimensions literally I was having more fun with Miles than Peter they made Peters moveset for the symbiote so sluggish when they had 3 years Shattered dimensions and web of shadows were rushed spiderman games with only a year and they made some of the best gameplay for Spiderman also a 7/10 is too generous tbh that shit is a 4/10 if you compare the symbiote to past Spiderman games who implemented it way better

This game had the best combat system of any spiderman game. Sometime it almost feels like a capcom game but its too bad this game was extremely glitchy and unpolished….
For me it wasn't glitchy and the reason why it was un polished is because this game was rushed this game was made in 18 months only

I like how brutal and beastlike the combo is like in most of the upgrades the symbiote suit uses tendrils or blades and spikes to attack the enemies

From the beginning of the game not all upgrades are available to get.
But, I can make you a savegame from the beginning of the game with all suit upgrades and 0 skill points (0 skill points for your personal stats) and if you want without collected spiders.

After seeing this game and spider man 2 its without a doubt obvious that wots has way more but weaker abilities compared to sm2 spideys less varied but overpowered abilities but im ngl they were creative with wots combat but sm 2s shows to be way stronger just at base
As this is the second time he is using the symbiote suit And also facing Venom, he understands much better how it works and how to use the symbiote's powers to their full potential. Unlike Insomaniac's Spider-Man, who only had experience using the symbiote suit once. WOS It's practically a monster, it even puts spines made of bone on its tentacles, something that the insomaniac Spiderman never did, even when he was almost completely Corrupted, the best chance he has is his anti-Venom version and we have already seen that he still lost to Venom

The only problem with this game is the camera which can be awful sometimes.
Yes, one of the moments is when the spider is climbing the wall and the camera looks up and down sharply, playing on the keyboard moving the mouse.

I just played miles morales ps 5 for the first time the combat it’s just amazing better than that dumb movie spider verse. insomniac understand mixing great powers and combat together, pretty sure they will deliver a better symbiont combat than, in web of shadows.
