- 40 Profound Life Rules from JP. *Rules 17-19 were inadvertently left out of the recording (17. If old memories still make you cry, write them down carefully and completely.)
18. Maintain your connections with people.
19. Do not carelessly denigrate social institutions or artistic achievement
1. Tell the truth.

5. If you have to choose, be the one who does things, instead of the one who is seen to do things.

8. Plan and work diligently to maintain the romance in your relationships.
9. Be careful who you share good news with.
10. Be careful who you share bad news with.
11. Make at least one thing better every single place you go.
12. Imagine who you could be, and then aim single-mindedly at that.

No 23 - so true. Many has wasted an entire life trying to rescue someone who never desired to be rescued at all.
He is the voice of reason for humanity !! Aren't we lucky to have him around during our stay here on earth.Make the world great again !!!
Hope he lives a long long time!
Dr. Jordan Peterson is father of this youngs mens .
That's why I have subscribed to this channel. Thank you anonymous youtuber.
These are all awesome, I already practice #36
Thank you.
Thank you 💖
Thank you
Can anyone tell me why, *OH WHY* anyone could possibly give this video a thumbs down 👎??! If anyone chooses to 👎, could you please take a moment and tell me why?? Thank you in advance.
I am resentful at that any people in earth tend to harm naive people. Some of them even take actions as soon as possible when they realize that person is either too simple or naive. Always have courage to show you refusement to manipulative people so they might realize you know their games.
Someone explain me better the number 33 please?
34 I'm reading this!
35 you're definitely the BEST PSICOLOGYST because of this, man!
I think it says notice that opportunity lurks around you , when you are more responsible
No.33 It means to take initiative. When you're a new hire starting on your job and you notice the lack of work ethic in the area, THAT is the opportunity before you in the LACK of abdication of responsibility.
I love you for saying pat a cat when you encounter one in the street.

This is why I love Jordan Peterson🙏❤️
These should be on billboards around the world.
Wait wait wait what happened to 17, 18 and 19???
the AI needs to improve around the numbers, that gives it away
Dr peterson. Any chance you can elaborate on these rules. As to the reason why?
The perfect start to the day.
my favorite is #40....be grateful in spite of it all!!
Read something by someone great. OK, I'll buy The art of the deal then.
Maybe you're being sarcastic but that is a really good book

Mr Garrett are you satisfied now?
is this using his deepfake website?
I love this video, but..
30. Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them.
This is one that I slightly disagree with. You should accept your children's decisions to some extent if it makes them happy, regardless of if you dislike what it is.
Heard this elaborated on, previously. Assume love. If a parent (that isn't a psychopath) that loves their kid, dislikes something they're doing, it has to be substantial enough to do so in a LOVING parent, which means it isn't minutiae. It also means that those other people that DO NOT love that child like their parents love them, will also be irritated by being subject to such misadventures, and will resent that kid.
The point is, at least have an honest talk about crap behavior with the one you love (the child) so they are aware that what is going on isn't making positive responses. A heads up/warning for the kid that trusts their parents to do such things...so they're not a fool.
Matt Lynn Grazie, grazie

It looks like 17-19 were skipped. I don't know who did it but here they are:
17. Maintain your connections with people.
18. Do not carelessly denigrate social institutions or artistic achievement.
19. If old memories make you cry, write them down carefully and completely.
Just trying to do my part to be true to number 11:
11. Make at least one thing better every single place you go. :)
...pet a cat with EXTREME caution at least in NYC but um be safe with this one.
This sounds like the peterson deepfake Ai
16. Work hard as you possibly can on at least one thing and see what happens
17. None

16.
My perspective:
No don't beat your own self to do work very hard when you cannot love what you are doing..or don't have time to Live life as your own personality.
20. My perspective:
Again it's a no. First accept your health condition how much ever worse at present. And then, if you can do or your bodily health allows you to do, have fun for example by making efforts to joke on your ownself. If you can possibly do then share your joys with others ( or to yourself ) as you share your sorrows with lovable persons around you.
21. My perspective:
Yes. But garnish with all due self respect on the top of it 😜
23. My view : yes! 👍 By the way preserving the common sense at that very right moment of your presence.
25. My view on perfection and criticism :
I feel either nothing is perfect or everything is perfect in the universe. If all you want in the world is perfectionism at any cost, you cannot live with peace. Although some amount of criticism is useful there is no need to criticize or hate the world.
1. Tell the truth
2. do not do things that you hate
3. Act!.. so that you can tell the truth about how you act
4. pursue what is meaningful not what is expedient
5. If you have to choose be the one who does things instead of the ones who seems to do things
6. PAY attention
7. Assume that the person you are listening to might know something you need to know. listen to them hard enough so that they will share it with you.
8. plan and work diligently to maintain the romance in your relationship
9. Be careful who you share good news with
10. be careful who you share bad news with
11. make at least one thing better every place you go
12. imagine who you could be and then aim single mindedly at that
13. do not allow yourself to become arrogant or resentful
14. try to make one room in your house as beautiful as possible
15. compare yourself to who you were yesterday not to someone else's today
13.
My perspective:
Ok being the social person.. however allow your inner personality what ever it might be..I mean that's completely fine, but don't pile up the worrying-thoughts. Allow your innerself sometimes what ever it want's to do. Then, you will realise mistakes or perfection later. Then move on and don't try to stuck in the past negative spiral.
It is true that by the time comes it heals. Peace☮️ 🙏
2. It's okay to hate what you do when you are doing what is right for your well being and society.

#41. Women, respect men that are worthy of respect.
Your anger/ hatred is not justified because you feel you are a victim.

You mean 40 profound rules from the Bible?....
No doubt these maxims were potentially derived in part from something said in the bible, but the statements that are in the bible are not stated as succinctly as they have been stated here. Hopefully you could see the utility in clarifying and organizing these principles into a list.
@Todd Howes
I disagree, I believe they are very clear in the bible and removing words actually diminishes the impact and lessons found therein.
@championchap
Lol touché 😂
Not to disrespect but I think Tim Minchins are better
