I subscribed because i am currently homeless and living in my car (since 2019) since i escaped an abusive relationship with my ex boyfriend. I recently bought a 17 key kalimba to calm me down whenever im triggered and experiencing disassociation. I used to play piano from age 4 to age 19. I am 37 now, and even though i have no access to piano, i am so glad i finally invested some money on a kalimba. Looking forward to learning it through your videos.

It'a somewhat unsettleing for me. Which I suppose is in line with the original intent of the song.
tbh the original's is calming, despite the very prominent, it's basically how enough chaos can create order

this channel definitely deserves more attention and love! i've been watching a lot of kalimba covers as of late and this is the first channel i came across that covers songs with so much more depth :)) a lot of kalimba covers focus on the melody but not the accompanying chords, Eva truly brings out the potential in the kalimba, its beautiful. keep up the great work!!

kind of a a funny thing... before I subbed, I had never heard of this song. I never knew it existed. Within a week of subbing to your channel, I hear it on a 90s rock playlist on CZcams Music, then it randomly kind of shows up in a conversation on the line at work.
Again, I love the aesthetic of your video. The cassettes on the floor reminds me growing up in the 90s before I learned how to organize.
