For Paruppu pachadi
Oil - 2ts
Onion - 1no.
Garlic - 3nos.
Turmeric powder - 1/4tsp
Toor dhal - 1cup
Roast and Paste
oil - one drop
hing - small piece
Coriander seeds - 2tsp
Pepper - 1tsp
Channa dhal - 1/2tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4tsp
Rice -1/4tsp
Red chilly - 3nos.
For gravy
Gingelly Oil - 3tsp
Mustardseed - 1/2tsp
Urad dhal - 1/2tsp
Curry leaves
Onion - 1no.
Tamarind - small lemon size
Jaggery - 2tsp
Salt to taste
