Wow! That’s a lot! I realise the collecting of pencils is a fun part of the hobby for a lot of people, but I made the decision that if I buy a new set, it has to be an upgrade of quality and I have to use them even if it’s just a colouring page. I get tempted to ‘save’ really nice things for ‘special’ but really, any time spent on my hobby is special and I bought them to enjoy them not just own them. And by not buying loads of mid priced sets, it more than covers the cost of replacing high end open stock. I then pass on my old supplies to my 4 year old daughter which she gets so much enjoyment out of. Although she does turn her nose up at water based markers since getting alcohol ones. Can’t say I blame her but I’m pretty sure she won’t be able to take them when she starts school next year 🤣
Oh I have derwent pencil envy. I live just 30 miles away from the factory where they are made, and only 18 miles away from the Pencil Museum and the original factory in Keswick.
That little tin also comes in 36 set and those are the regular size aka length. 17. ? Cm.
There’s also a box with a Salamander on the box, also collectors in a set of 68.

Thank you so much for watching, I love the derwent brand :) the drawing pencils are one of my favorites and the Lightfast of course I started out collecting a small set of lightfast and it took me 2 years to get them all but they are lovely

just so you have worry about that Polychromos pencil name : "hell' is the german word for light, so that would have been a cadmium light you had there.
