    Thanks for this info video.
    We are not close by but do you know some reputable company near North Hampton New Hampshire ? We want to explore an eco water system for our home. Also our water is very brown - not sure if eco water can solve this.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the video. Do we need to worry about Sodium build up now on the pipe, etc...?

    • @AngelWater
      @AngelWater  Před 9 měsíci

      Not at all. Sodium will not build up on the insides of your pipes. In fact, they'll be less salt and a glass of water than there is in a slice of white bread. Thank you for your comments.

    Can I use a water softener with a septic system?

    • @AngelWater
      @AngelWater  Před měsícem +1

      Yes, you can use a water softener with a septic system. You may want to invest into a high efficiency Water softener like the Ecowater unit because it will put the least amount of salt into your septic tank.

      Can i pour a bag of solar naturals salt into a water pod full of orange water to make it clear again or semi clear @AngelWater

    Should my salt tank be full of water? Our water seems to be hard no matter what settings we try. It's almost as if it's putting water into the tank, but not pulling it back out to clean the beads. Is this normal?

    • @AngelWater
      @AngelWater  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It’s broken. It needs service.
      Screen and or injector is plugged up.
      Have a great day!

    I have questions. Hope you can help...I just bought a cabin in the county with a well and it has hard water. It has a GE SmartWater GXSF40H. It was completely empty of salt. I cleaned the salt chamber and put 3 bags in to fill it about 2/3 up. Only been here 2 months and we hadn't ran this thing so didn't know what to expect. I programmed it and ran the instant recharge mode. I have no experience with a water softener system. I watched a bunch of videos to gain some knowledge. I noticed that there is very little media in the brine tank. I shined a light in and saw the bottom with a float. How do I know if the correct level of media is in the brine tank? I read reviews on this model where it malfunctioned a the beads went out into the houses water system. maybe thsi happened before we bought the house?? How can I check to see if it is working properly?

    • @AngelWater
      @AngelWater  Před měsícem

      If you can take the control valve off the top of the water softener, you will be able to see how much media is inside the tank. On a GE water softener they are filled almost all the way to the top. These units only last a few years. Sounds like it’s a little old and may need to be replaced with a professional grade system.

    Aren't there softners that just use salt, no resin beads?

    • @karstenpriebe4887
      @karstenpriebe4887 Před 4 měsíci

      No. All water Softeners use resin beads. The only purpose of the salt is to strip the hardness from the beads.

    we have well water, it regenerates every 14 days, is that too little?

    • @AngelWater
      @AngelWater  Před 9 měsíci +1

      The regeneration is usually based on the quality of your water and the water usage. Every 14 days may work fine. Are you getting white film buildup on your dishes or shower stall? If so, then you may need to reduce that timeframe.
