Similar to the previous surah, Al-Falaq, this final chapter is also a prayer where we seek refuge in Allah. We call on Him, the Lord and Master of all, to protect us against the evil whispers from both humans and jinn. Those who try to distract us from the straight path by corrupting our hearts. Allah is the only one we call upon for help, which connects full circle with the central theme of the first surah, Al-Fatihah (The Opening).

سورۃالناس Surah An-Nas [114]
- قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
1. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
- مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
2. the Master of mankind,
- إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
3. the God of mankind,
- مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ
4. from the evil of the lurking whisperer-
- ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
5. who whispers into the hearts of mankind-
- مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
6. whether jinn or mankind.”

The Surah consists of 6 versus. The last three versus are explained in English however there is no mention of the actual versus.
