We go benidorm 3 times a year, I'm.65 wife 58 we love a good time, however the square area and street is becoming horrible to walk down..beginning march and January evertime we near square Asian and black guys pestering us asking do we want drugs. Broad daylight in afternoon. This is NOT good. I hope the police stamp on this.
Seen this also just bk on Saturday not a good reflection on benidorm more police needed
Police don’t care they getting paid that’s how they can do it in broad day light they no exactly who it is and wt there up2 and if you ever get into trouble wit these street pushers the police always side with them over tourist it’s top level corruption but nothing new in Spain or national police
I don't go near this area seen terrible things with bouncers .drunks prostitutes etc .I stay in old town .if I go in to see specific show in talk of the coast town etc riveria and phillipeines .these are the only place we go .it's a taxi straight back .
Love Benidorm, but I avoid the whole area between the main road in Avenue Europa and the road that passes the Benidorm Palace, inland from the Dual carriageway Avenida Mediterráneo. Plenty of fun to be had elsewhere. Too dirty and sleazy around the square particularly.
Prices have shot up with jet 2 ana 500 hundred pounds gone up since I booked 2 weeks ago🥴👍🍰

We’ve been out every night for the last five nights. Didn’t see any police out. Lots of very drunk people as usual but no trouble thankfully. The most annoying people are the ones trying to get you into the bars!! Thanks for the info 😊
We go twice a year for the past 15 years n never seen any trouble anywhere in benidorm. Gosh you are painting it in a very dark light n it will turn people off going there😢

Same was out five nights straight in the British square and didn’t see any fighting or trouble. Did see police stop searching random Brit’s at the end of the strip one night . Nothing came of it though . Good crack Benidorm is 👌🏻 world class lash up
I tend to avoid the square, it's super tacky lol. Many prettier & more relaxing spots in Benidorm.

Been coming to benidorm 2/3 times a year for over 15 years . British square is like any other resort where the clubs are together. Busier during holiday season but not neccessarily UNSAFE..only seen one fight in all our years coming over . Yes you have chancers and the touts but if you keep street smart and ignore you generally are ok . Everyone just looking to enjoy themselves. Your tone and wording is not painting benidorm in a good light . I thought you were promoting benidorn not discouraging. Very poor ....
Are there removing the stones for sand on the beach am stay at the la Colina for 11nyts in July is it good?

Maybe just lucky but in 20 years of visiting Benidorm, I’ve never seen any trouble at Calle Gerona or anywhere else for that matter. Keep up the good work, Ana. Always watch and love your reviews.
When you walk past those wonderful Asian restaurants at 8 minutes in are they both still open, best Chinese or Asian food we have had anywhere in the Benidorm/Albir/Altea area!!! We like the grey one which is more varied menu but I know both have the same owner. Great food and price, you should do a review from there!!

We are going to the Ambassador Playa 1, again, in October, we have only seen 1 small amount of trouble in 5 years 😊, not at the Ambassador by the way, just some drunk idiots from hotel by triangle pub, all was quickly sorted by the gardia, always have the best of times around that area, and what a view when the lightening show starts, mesmerising 😮, can't wait to back see Mikey from the triangle pub, fantastic nights ALWAYS
Every 10 yards down the British bit people trying to sell you coke ! The rest of Benidorm is lovely but that bit is so sleazy

In all the years I've been visiting Benidorm up and down the British St and every other street for that matter, at all hours I've never seen any of that trouble and always felt 100% safe. No lots of police cars or ambulances flying around. Do you have any videos to back this up? You're going to scare people away from that area with this stuff
