- Subscriber Filming Suggestion - Benidorm! We find ourselves in the 'Marmite' of British holiday resorts. You will either love Benidorm or you will hate it with its 24 hour drinks, English food, tribute acts and karaoke almost around the clock. It's a favourite with Hen's, stags and groups in the summer but attracts the more mature clientele in the quieter winter period. Benidorm is in the Costa Blanca about 40 minutes drive from Alicante airport and attracts MILLIONS of holidaymakers each year.
We show you what there is to do in Benidorm, how much Benidorm will cost you and take a walk to Benidorm Old Town to try some delicious tapas on a budget on the famous tapas alley!
This is a Benidorm guide suited for first timers or regulars looking for some up to date information.
Places featured include Morgans Tavern, Uncle Ped's, Piccadilly bar, Cider Bar and much more. We stayed at Hotel Marina for our visit in the Levante beach area of Benidorm which is ideally suited for 18-30's or those young at heart.

Last time I went to Benidorm was in the early 80's when I was a kid we stayed at the Pelicanos now famously known as the Solana, would love to go back and see it through an adults eyes might book a cheeky week next year

I first went at 16 on my dads friends stag doo. Then went back easy 7~10 times on my own most times up to age of 22 then lived there from 2007- 2010 on camping Excalibur near albir glad Yorkshire pride still open me and my partner are going next July for my 40th it'll be pure nostalgia n fact she's not been before will be good to show her around. Not sure y we've not been as for last 9 year we go away 2-3 times a year mainly Malta think I've finally grown up but benidorm is my home from home still can't wait to get bk after seeing this 😊

Pintxos is actually what you bought. Basically any tasty items on bread is Pintxos Tapas are dishes served in a bowl or small plate.

Great vlog guys. We just got back today now I want to go back 😂 we too go to cider bar 😊. The thing that puts me off about the Marina hotel is the fact anyone can use the pool
Top choice! Yeah they allow day guests for a fee but we only dipped our legs in there as we saw the colour of the pool on an evening after drinks and miscellaneous 'juices' had been splashing around in there. Hope you had a great time and did it proper! BENNERS!

Corfu this time? We are still haunted by the wasps in Sidari. We're hoping to get away in a few weeks for 4 nights but looking at the extortionate prices we might have to have a rethink as there's no way we are paying over £100 a night per person! Ugh x

We reckon it probably is apart from Tenerife where we heard rumours that where we filmed in one of the Chinese restaurants you can get a pint for a couple of cents under €1 but that would be splitting hairs and in fairness the pint is much nicer at Uncle Ron's and a lot better atmosphere wise. Thanks for the great info. Will be our 1st time there, only chose as fell in our budget and what was available at this time. We are 44 and 40 and just actually wanting to relax, go to the beach, be by the pool and walk around. We staying at Gran hotel Bali, hope it is ok and not sure what to expect with noise, parties from seeing your video. Any advice on what to expect next week /noise/relaxing? Are we in the right area away from parties etc? Thanks in advance.
Hey Jarred. The Gran Bali is out of the main part of Benidorm so you should have no issues. If you do fancy the area with what we filmed then it would be a good taxi ride away...possibly in the region of 10+ minutes by road. You'll hit the old town where tapas alley is before you get anywhere near the Levante end. From memory it's going to be a bit of a walk from the Bali to the beach although you can route plan it by foot on Google. One thing is for sure though...it dominates the skyline so you can't miss it. Hope the info helps!

Us the group of guys go out there every yr in March to watch the Cheltenham Festival. Been doing it for the last 6 yrs. We always Airbnb it, stay in Old Town. Beer cheap & the food is great out there

Haha! The typical 'Benidorm breakfast'. Greasy full English and a pint to get back on it again. If it's a proper stinker then a pint of OJ but I've never had to order that.

Hey Gary. It's perfect for solo travellers as everyone loves to chat so you'll probably end up making friends in one of the many bars if you're the outgoing type. There are no strangers in Benidorm, just friends you haven't met yet.

Im a 35 year old male going to Benidorm for the first time. What month should I go and any other advice?
Hey Dean. To get the full effect of Benidorm it would be any time from Easter to the famous November Fiesta. December and January are generally quiet but the resort is still open year round with enough to do. Our best advice is prepare your liver.
Loved this wee blog.. im not a fan of amstel... But for 1 Euro... That may change... I knew what you meant about the euro wine, youd not expect it to be decent for that price, and the size of that glass .. 2 or three of them id be half cut and for 3 euro... 🤤🤤🤤

We believe so. Unsure as to what time until but we've seen children in there before on previous trips. It gets packed out though so you'll need to keep a close eye.

@ianp7206 it's a normal working bar so you just enter as you would. They don't take bookings but it's better to arrive early or it will be standing room only. The layout is a bit different from what you see on the box as it was only changed for filming in the afternoons when it is closed.

@@ParksTravelGuide skiathos Greece, or especially oludeniz turkey, pula in Croatia is stunning, I tend to avoid anywhere where there's an English football shirt in a bar. Winter I recommend Krakow, Budapest, and Riga, for 3night breaks. I spend Xmas in Cape town South Africa I used to work and live there, and stay in fish-hoek.
@stevexn Sounds great. Skiathos has been on our hit list for a few years. Krakow is our favourite winter city break and we liked Bud...even though it was one of our very first vlogs and a difficult film so we didn't have much time to ourselves. Always fancied Riga and Tallinn but it's fitting them in. South Africa is high on our list too, especially to find a reserve for a good Safari apart from Kruger. You're a lucky man spending winter there and we're very jealous!
