Great quick tutorial! I have a question about the number of videos that show in each section. I only see 12 max displaying even when you use the right arrow to click to see additional video in the playlist. Example: You only see 12 videos in the each section when there are more videos in many sections. I can see all if you click the Video tab. Is there a limit?
The external links bit you gave is already out of date. They no longer show on your banner, but in the About tab...

Nice video! What about the rest of the branding? Like, how do you ensure that thumbnails or intros also follow the same outlook (fonts, colors) as the rest of your channel? For e.g. I can create cool thumbnails in Canva, but it doesn't look consistent with the rest of my channel.
you need to design brand guidelines for yourself, that is what all big brands do (Coca Cola, Heineken etc)
-define a color scheme
-fonts
-icons
etc.
And everything from thumbnails to channel headers to lower thirds follows those guidelines

Thanks. Excellent video information, but when I cliick on customization the two ADD buttons in video spotlight are missing so I can't highlight a clipsfor new or returning visitors

@@socialvideoplaza - Thanks. It healed itself, but not by restoring the ADD button. Instead I now have the three vertical dots which allow me to add or delete the two trailers.

Thank you for this tutorial. What do I do when my playlists (uploads, most popular uploads) do NOT show up when I want to add a new SINGLE PLAYLIST in the drop down box???
both are not under SINGLE PLAYLIST, it is one level higher in the drop-down menu (at the same level as SINGLE PLAYLIST)
The CZcams banner through me for a loop. I used the template in Canva and every time I uploaded it to CZcams it wasn’t showing my banner correctly. It took me a lot of attempts to get it how I wanted it to look. I’m not sure what that was all about. What good is using a template if it’s not gonna look right when it’s uploaded to CZcams.
that might be canva screwing things up, because I use it for all my channels and copied it from the original dimensions youtube gives us... not sure what that is all about
How do I find customization on my phone
hi, could you tell me how to get my left hand column words back , eg dashboard, content, analytics etc.. these words have been replaced with faint images!!

My add section list of plugins you mention in your video is seen but not active only a few are active. I can not add all my videos to my new CZcams home page with these displayed taps not being active. I sent a feed back to CZcams but no response. I would love to download my many videos to my home page but can not since the add section taps are seen but not active.

I have my channel set up pretty much like you showed in this video but can you tell me why when I upload a new video and it to a row that I have customized, it puts the newest upload at the bottom or end of a row. I want my newest videos to be the first thing viewers see when coming to my channel they should have to scroll to the end of the row to see them. Is there a way to set it so all new uploads go to the top or the start of the row?

But there is a sorting option somewhere in the playlist options. I believe there is also a checkbox which allows you to put it at the beginning or end of the list.
i am missing that little search bar on the right of the layout bar. Anny idea what i did, or how can i bring it back... ? Thanks

I've found out @@socialvideoplaza 👍 From settings I set so my default was that this channel was made for kids. When u hit that automatic setting , that search bar disappears. But if u click on it's for adults, it comes back.

Why does my customization tab only show five videos when I have up to 14 shown on the channel? I cannot organize them !

I would like to catogize my videos in difference sections. eg. all the team power videos in one section and leadership videos in another section and so on. How do I do taht?

@@socialvideoplaza Thank you - I made a single playlist (called Testimonials) All the testimonial videos went into the playlist.... but when I click "view Channel: the new playlist does not show up. :(

When I customize my page with playlists etc., it takes about 1 or 2 days until they finally appear. Does anyone else have this problem too and/or know how to fix this?
It can take some minutes, youtube caches a lot, especially small channels, but it shouldnt take days.
What I think is happening, your browser cache shows you an old page.
Empty your browser cache when this happens

Hi Dexxter, I have a branded youtube channel @relaxationhideaway, and it has my brand logo as the profile picture, but when you search from my youtube channel my Google Profile picture shows up. I have tried everything to change it and have had no luck. do you have any advice? I would greatly appreciate your help.
avatars on youtube are pretty consistent but outside ... indeed it sometimes uses one, sometimes the old one, sometimes none at all. not sure why
