Thanks Jono for the review. I had the chance to play around with the shorty last month. I have ordered one with the foot pedal . I've been using a Critical PS for years and found thier customer service superb, but I have not heard back from them on this question. I'm hoping you might be able to answer this. Nowhere do I see mentioned using these with a coil machine.
It fit, it ran but I wanted to make sure it would be covered on the warranty. My coil is an AL Fk iron shader. My other machine is a Dragonfly x2. Any ideas?
This is a really good question and I’ll do my best to find out for you. I’m not 100% sure if this is compatible due to coil and motors running differently but I will find out. Let me know if you get any word back in the meantime. Thanks for watching!
@@JonoSmithTattoo I was just fiddling around with my battery. I use a large back up battery because we have frequent power outages on the grounds where our shop is. I have my PS and a work light plugged in. This got me thinking. One time I was set up with my coil. My battery lasted about an hour. Another time using my Dragonfly it lasted for the day.
I'm thinking it's possible that the coil will pull too much power from the the wireless battery.

Yes they’re both RCA but they are available in 3.5mm Jack as well
Batteries can be in the dock all the time? Or once it’s charged you need to remove them from the charger station tho ?

Do you need the pedal or does it work without it aswell?
It works without a pedal too. Just one press of the power button on the front turns it on and off.
How do you turn up the led light mines is barely visible

If it has an RCA or 3.5mm connection then yes they will.

How to activate, desactive jumpstart mode ?
I can't find any info on how to change this. I personally don't like jump start.

For Cheyenne cartridges it’s very useful tho
It’s hard to start running cheyenne cartridges without cartridges a low speed.
With this jump start mode activated it’s flawless to work cheyenne cartridges a low voltage ⭐️
@@Wally_GTO thanks. I understand the need for the jump start function. Ive used it at times on my Dragonfly with lower volts. Its just a little thing but the hesitation and sound bugs me a bit. Ill get used to it. :)

Usually a couple of hours.
Should I charge fresh out of the box? Or use and than charge ?
