- Yep, I finally caved. Here's the initial set up of my Hobonichi Cousin for 2022 and a cheeky little "journal with me" session to give you an idea of the shenanigan process.

I’m a dude and I strive just to get shit written down and done, but deep down there’s a piece of me that’s so jealous of y’all’s beautiful planners/journals and mostly, your minds. It’s really incredible how you planner girls (and some guys ofc) essentially make life a piece of art. Life can be sloppy, but you really capture its beauty. I appreciate that you say “this may be redundant but I don’t care”. Yeah it takes time but is scrolling social media any better? Anyways, thank’s for sharing your process. It helps

Thank you for sharing, and I love how you are doing what makes you happy. I'm always hard on myself with my planner. My catch-all is an A5 rings, and I plan on getting an A6 just for journaling & having fun with it.

Ohhhh, how I've missed your videos! I love your IG content too. Glad you finally jumped on the Hobo train! I have like 4 planners this year and only 2 have specific purposes (school and home/life tasks). The other two are just creative. It's my outlet and lets me destress from the hard work that goes on throughout the week. And that's ok. Your peace of mind is never a waste.

This is the first video I have seen of your’s, and I really liked it. Your handwriting is beautiful, and I was interested in how you use the Hobonichi Cousin and the stickers from CoffeMonsterz. I received my first order from Helen, and I was going to use them in my bullet journal, but I decided to get the 1/2 year Cousin Avec to see if I liked it. I’m going to wait until I get that because stickers aren’t cheap! That will give me time, also, to watch more of your videos and some of Helen’s older ones. I am just amazed when I see this kind of talent because I am not artistic, hence my growing supply of stickers and washis . 😁 Thank you for sharing your talent.
Im coming to the exact same conclusion. It’s not about putting the pressure on ourselves, it turns everything into a chore n makes us sad deep down. I’m trying to do what makes me happy now too, just for fun, its so important ❤️

Can you link all the pens you use? Or at least write the pen names in the description? I love your spreads and the colours you use so I’d like to use some of the pens as you’ve inspired me to probably be a little more consistent in journaling lol
I believe the black pen seen most prominently in her spreads is the Pilot G2 .7 mm
I just finished Helen’s newest video, and uses so many of your stickers that I realized it’s been a bit since I saw one of your videos. This time I did the smart thing and subscribed! I like bullet journaling because I’m not really good at journaling every day. If I miss a few days, it’s no big deal. In June I ordered the half-year Hobonichi Cousin to try it because I love the way that Helen uses her’s. Now I love the way you use your’s as well. I’m going to keep trying to use mine daily, but if I find that I don’t, I’ll just go back to my Bujo. Either way, I’ll have plenty of your videos to re-watch and/or to catch up on! I’m going to check out your store as well because it looks like you have a lot of great stuff just by watching Helen! I love your handwriting, and it just makes your pages look so very special.

The grey marker was a Pentel Fude Touch Brush Sign Pen in Gray. And the pink marker was a Crayola Super Tip!

How quickly does that Uni-ball One pen dry in the hobo??
Almost instantly, in my experience. I failed to mention that the ink is also so matte on the paper, in addition to its richness and darkness.
