The woman who looks like Reira is Ryoko. She has already appeared several times in the manga and anime. The key to distinguishing these women is their bangs!

I was also just thinking that if that wasn't Reira that guy kinda tricked Hachi into confirming the relationship of Reira and Shin. At the same time he also made her give up on trying to stop the Nana article. That's why they keep backup stories I think, in order to use them later when they need it more. They are annoyingly smart.
I agree with you about working too much. I am not sure that Yazawa wanted the money the most but maybe she just wanted to be able to finnish her story. Maybe you know better but I don't know if she had any other option than agreeing to that schedule. Maybe she could have hired more assistants but I think she really wanted to do it her way. I heard in an interview that she only slept 3 hours/day during Nana. That's crazy. It's a miracle she managed to gave us so many chapters before getting sick ( I also think I heard that her schedule might be the main cause of her mysterious sickness). After she stayed for a while in a medical facility she said it was very hard for her to draw or hold the pencil... She did draw quite a few drawings and such recently and over the years after the hiatus so maybe she's getting better.
That really sucks to hear but yeah hopefully after this break she feels better
