I love how everyone has written England off and don't give us a prayer against RSA. We go in as massive underdogs but I think it's a good position to be in!
Only issue is England will have to play their guts and and NZ will be fresh as a daisy in the final so would be a repeat of the 2019 world cup where SA had the easiest run to a final in world cup history.
I’d say being massive underdogs is pretty much the worst position you could be in. Obviously hoping we can pull of a miracle but I’d much rather we’d actually showed some evidence that we can play at SA’s level prior to the game

😂😂😂 England are a laughing stock in South Africa. We are going to run straight over the top off you . Your kicking plan will last ten minutes, then it will be floodgates . Game abandoned after 60 unless your supporters can come on for the wounded England players , they would at least have more bottle to take ball in to contact, little side step . Then fire it back for Farrell to bottle it with a up and under

Borthwicks selection against SA is going to be key. To not use Ford and Theo Dan against Fiji (because they weren’t needed?) I don’t think will work with the Boks. We need every player off the bench!

Southern Hemisphere teams always bring their A game to world cups, not matter how poor they perform prior. Northern hemisphere teams always do the opposite, always dropping the ball when it matters. Case and point Ireland.
But I do feel like England are a bit of an exception, they always manage to scramble in time for the World Cup, even if they do so with an ‘we’re just seeing how far we can ride this train’ mindset, while SA and NZ always aim to win.
It's only this world cup England are doing that with the "we'll just see how it goes" mentality. It's the worst England team in history. Although they are playing a bit better here than they have done in some time.

Yeah, unbeaten when you're literally gifted with the easiest draw hence you're placed in the easiest pool😏 The highest ranked team England have played are Fiji (8th in the world) and they barely got past them. Jonny May, Arundel and Steward would be my back 3 against South Africa in the semi final. May and Steward to deal with the all the high balls that are destined to rain down. Arundel for his pace , to go up against their speedsters. Ford at 10 , for his game management and to fire his spiral bombs down on their back 3. Manu and Marchant in the centre's. Mitchell at 9 with Care getting splinters on the bench. Keep the bench off the field for as long as possible, don't make changes unnecessarily.
Did not take these lot as Zach Bryan listeners, especially in the gym!

I’m sorry but England are getting smacked around so badly this weekend as an English fan I’d rather not watch the game. Just the level of physicality and intensity will be something this English side hasn’t faced yet. It will be an utter annihilation from start to finish.
