This is insane. The Arab League and UN should request or pay Egypt to open their borders and allow the trapped civilians to temporarily enter Egypt. Even if its a million, they could set up their tents in a few square miles of desert. Food and medicine aid could then be safely sent into Egypt.
Israel would need to agree to a cease fire to allow Egypt to check each person coming in for weapons(to prevent Hamas members from escaping). Hamas would then be forced to turn over the Israeli hostages or meet their end. A World economic embargo could then be placed on Israel to pressure them into a 2 State Solution to hopefully end this 75+ year conflict.
