  • Day 8 of my 9 day Pan America run. On this day I rode from Cache Creek BC Canada to Valemount BC Canada. Via Highway 97, 24, 5. Panamer turned 30000km on this ride. I road a lot of rain on this ride. Still was a great day. Had lunch under a tree. Haha. Enjoy.
    Video 150 on the channel.

Enjoy some your videos and have a question. I see you now have done quite a few miles on the ADV bike. As you used to have a cruiser what differences have you found. Has the comfort been fine on the ADV and would you consider going back to another cruiser? Have tossed up going to an Adventure because of the lower weight and performance but certainly spoiled with a bit more wind protection. I welcome your comment and ride safe!!!

No I would not go back. Gives me more riding options. More storage.I love the clearance this Panam has.
Takes a bit to get use to the different weight. It’s higher up on the motorcycle. Makes it top heavy, have to be very careful at low speeds.
With good handle bar protection and the windshield is amazing for a guy at my height. 5.6. The protection is better than my windshield on my Fat Boy.
I put highway pegs on the front crash bars and it’s very comfortable on a long highway run. Handle bar risers makes it comfortable standing up on gravel roads. I love the challenge of off road.
Definitely staying with this ADV style.
Thanks for the comment. Hope this helps with your decision.
Also have a video coming up in 5 weeks of a 250km gravel run in the rain. Haven’t felt that kind if excitement from a ride in a long time. I rode the Liard Highway in the NWT and Bc Canada.
