Bureau of Land Management Arizona Fire is proud to highlight the Colorado River District's ongoing fuels reduction work taking place on public lands through funding made available by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The Vinagre Wash Mastication and subsequent pile burning creates a fire break, which protects communities and infrastructure in the event of wildfires along the Colorado River Corridor in Arizona.
