Affan and Durr e Fisha should do more and more dramas together. They look perfect together
Gohar Rasheed is such a versatile and super talented actor. He had a negative role in Man Mayal which he brilliantly performed. Now in Pardes he is doing so well. Marina Khan's amazing direction and all performances are so good.
My ex husband s younger brother was exactly like Asims role. Ufff
@@nusalam3264 😭😢 my husband brothers(brothers in laws) so selfish my husband spent more than 10 years in perdais but .......
Marina Khan is the lady diana of pakistan. Her beauty was matchless in the 80s. She is still so elegant.
True
Yes she actually does but Lady Diana was a lady Diana.
Durefishan is a treat to watch.even the way she talks and that smile is to kill for
MasahAllah
Omg I didn’t know marina and nadeem directed the baraat series!! Such a fantastic job and its one of my favourite absolutely FAVOURITE pakistani series ever.
Sarmad Khoosat. Class Apart. It's too evident. He's a genius and extraordinary. Please do a detailed interview really soon. Need to listen to him more.
Affan and dur e fishan has a great chemistry ☺️💜
Thanks to 6 sigma for letting a woman direct the show. We need more women directors. In Ptv Era there were many young women directors. We have regressed as a society and it reflects on drama industry too.
I can’t imagine a drama like tanhaiyan being made now without people saying they are promoting westernised values. It was two strong women standing on their feet doing something for themselves in a man’s world.
We also have to bring cousin marriages to make romance acceptable on screen, whereas in dhoop kinare none of them were cousins but were interested in each other. Sad how dire the state of our tv and mindset is now. How could we have progressive storylines back in 80s even during the era of where everything was getting banned under Zia and with all the supposed freedom we have now they still can’t make a good drama without regressive plot lines and stories and is always backlash to something that’s a bit difference like Ghissi received a lot of backlash for heroine
@@chy9061 pp
@@chy9061 We have more freedom of expression today? My dear , the fact is the opposite. We were far more expressive and progressive than what we are today.
I agree that we do not have the writers of the calibre of Ashfaq Ahmed, Bano Qudsia, Asghar Nadeem Syed, Mano Bhai, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi Atta ul haq Qasmi, the list goes on. Not only has the standard of urdu literature deteriorated, the society as a whole has degenerated. All the above mentioned were philosophers, who wrote thought provoking drama, they raised questions for the society to ponder on. All these had progressive mentality and there was freedom of expression. Similar is the case with Haseena Moin, who had a different genre, not so philosopherical but very progressive. The society, in general at that time was far more progressive, tolerant and modern. They accepted diversity in views. Gradually and deliberately, religious extremism, intolerance, bigotry was incalcated in the society. People were punished for asking questions, speaking out the truth, to fight for their rights. Society was gradually turned into zombies through censorship. Watch Sach Gup, of 70's, even fifty fifty. The comedy was not meaningless, it was a satire. You could hit on the ruling the powerful. You could wear sleeveless on TV. Our moms and grand moms wore sleeveless normally ,out on the streets and bazaars and no one would harass them or call them feminists or liberals or anti Islam. There was tolerance. Is the society today ready to forgive, ready to understand the other persons views No, they have been mentally trained to attack, and fight amongst themselves, instead of fighting together for their rights against tyranny, against the powerful. We are ready to kill for a non issue but would never support another for a cause. Why do you think Haseena Moin stopped writing? Her women were not only independent and empowered, they were head strong opinionated, at times rebels, who could go against the norms. In short they were modern women, not dari sami, dupatta clad, when going to a college. Watch her early dramas, Shezori, unkahi. People do not accept or consider such women as good, today. A dupatta less girl is automatically taken as a bad girl. The heroine, the good girl covers her head while going to college, working even if she is shown as a strong girl. ZGH, HKS, the last marwa hockney drama, all had strong women , but also were shown as dupatta clad to be made acceptable. Haseena Moin drama heroine was like Insha of Raqeeb se, someone not bothered about others views. How many watched it. So it's the society as a whole that has changed and writers are part of the society. The timid, submissive girl is the good girl today, the moder girl invites harassment, rape. This is the mentality today. Similarly, questioning the powerful , speaking against tyranny is considered anti national and anti religion. No dramas can have topics, like land mafia, censorship of media, a rapist religious scholar, a corrupt minister, army officer. The writer would go missing, would be attacked , threatened. Dramas were made on these topics, comedy was based on these in the era of good writers because there was freedom of expression. What is allowed today is family, intrigues, seedi saadi aurat, do shaadian. No will object to them , so these are being made .
@@mahnoorqureshi3281 yeah I agree you. I personally don’t have issue with them showing duputta clad heroines, as long as they show them to as strong women not crying and scared of everything and all they receive is zulm and have no guts to speak up, but I didn’t find Sabaat, YKS or ZGH heroines are very strong at all but I can see your point about they have to make such a woman acceptable. If she was good and strong woman but showed in a modern look people wouldn’t accept it as much. Our people found anmol in Dillagi and samiya in ghissi as unacceptable yet they were in desi clothing and anmol wore duputta too. I was watching parchaiyan a 1970s drama and saira kazmi was wearing western clothing in it and very opinionated, she wasn’t dari saimi, she was very well spoken etc and it’s strange how people loved her but hate our current actresses for the same thing.
@@chy9061 Religion and patriotism is exploited and sold to gain power and to fool the the public. Not Zia, it was the liberal president Musharraf that said that women get themselves raped to seek asylum abroad. The former Playboy PM says men are tempted by women wearing less clothes, since men are not robots. My question: I am also not a robot. When I see the luxurious lifestyle of the PM , in his 300 kanal bani gala mansion, I get tempted to kill them and take over the mention. I would be be justified to do that, na since I am not a robot?
We are going towards regression with time , we were tolerant and progressive in the last century. It’s basically the hypocrisy and power struggle that is to be blamed from the top tricking down into the society.
When nadeem baig said one scene is close to my heart... when they got red fridge.... no words. Thanks amna and hassan

My husband does not watch dramas but he loves Pardes. He is touched by the potrayal of the Man's struggle for his family. The man-hater stories need to change.
When someone appreciate something haute as gohar we as viewer feel very proud
Hassan is a married man, stop teasing him by naming other females. I think it's inappropriate
Hmmm. I have the exact opposite reaction. It is so cute n endearing. Teasing your friends about their 'alleged' n 'make belief' crushes is normal. Let's not take it in a different direction.
I guess as long as the girl is comfortable with it too then it may not be an issue and is taken lightly
@@razlug22 Yeah sure..... but it's getting too much. It's not funny anymore okay-?
Jis roz main *Perdes* dekh loon, mere ko neind e nhi aatiii … aur continues I cried … my father lived in Masquat more 35 years and my mother lived with joint family (daadi, chacha, chachi, phupo’s) story 💯 related with my life story …
I got it, so please help every time your mother, because she is alone and facing lots of different problems to family.
My dad was in the army who stayed away on borders most his life n then my brothers! Its not just about they being away but the fear of losing them haunting you all the time!!
Shaista is so gracious lady. She is doctor so I personally admire her a lot

WHAT !!!
This was such a refreshing change though I love your reviews and interviews. I could listen to Sarmad Khoosat all day. He has such a pleasing personality, is extremely articulate and well-read. Loved his work in Churails, though I've not had Nihari after that. I think the strength of Pardes lies in its relatability and everyone has done a superb job in it. P.S. Also enjoyed Affan Waheed's tongue-in-cheek banter with Hassan. We know where that came from :-)
I just love the combination of Affan and Something Haute . Both are my favourite 😍♥️
Gohar Rasheed ,sensible , intelligent actor ,and the laugh 😆 Overall fantastic episode, 🙏 thank you Anna and Hassan .
Durefishan is so poised and elegant.one can’t take eyes off her.
You guys sort of gave the spoiler away, zubi wearing white, Sarmad in hospital gown, all cast present for the scene...it's gonna end up tragically
Pardes is such fresh breath of air to dramas.
Such well spoken people! Nadeem Beg & Sarmad Khoosat...loved Goher's positive energy & infectious laugh. Cracker of an episode it is.
I wish u do a full detailed interview of Sarmad khoosat really really soon!! Really looking fwd to it..thanks this episode was awesome!
Sarmad is love
..after churail it was necessary for him to do some loving character...
When marina said OMG,, she reminds so much of tanhayan... She is so beautiful
Was waiting for MARINA G's interview and talking about jackson height and hassan missed😭😭😭😭
And ATIQA G's interview too
Gohar’s laugh is so adorable.
In PK also not handsome men can be an actor
Can one believe Sarmad did that role in Baghi. His accent and way of speaking is so entirely different. That’s such good acting!
It is good that you are playing this video on father's day. One lesson, this drama is giving is to show the importance of father's role &. presence in a child's life.
Great to see you back to On Set interviews.❤️❤️❤️
Ok
Okay , the sensitive scene is like Sarmad's character dying in hospital ??? I guess so 🤔
But episode 11 promo when mother told that hassen your wife is charactor less then he feel pain in heart.
Marina Khan😍 oh my God what a lady.. the personality the aura pls so so beautiful so graceful✨😍💛
Hope to see her proper interview.
I really wish to see zindagi tamasha!! Cant believe it hasn’t been released yet:((
I know this is not relevant to today’s presentation ..... But please Hassan and Aamna ,put Wahaj and Madiha , Osama on Haute .
ISHQ JALEBI a rarity ... HAUTE to the core
And the bachaas and baray ,
They really and truly are and were totally HAUTE !!
They need to know , all the cast and the director and writer that what they created gave us is memorable ,will cherish , and people will go back to it again and again to recharge , rekindle , reminisce and revisit all that is so exquisite in life , as We do with the classic KIRAN KAHANI . And Tanhaiyaan .
All about family and all the beauty that comes out of it .
And so many lessons conveyed so beautifully .

May Allah help those who put up with my souch .
Luv to you both and the team behind Something g Haute .. all who have made HAUTE happen
I loved it. I and my mother-in-law watched it together after Eid. It made me very emotional due to the reality shown there. From writer to acting, every scene was exceptional. I loved it. You are right. We have watched it so many times still it looks fresh.
Ishq jalebi was such a masterpiece but it went unnoticed. Hassan did not find it worth watching(he didn't even watch ishq jalebi. Haasan now days is enjoying only over the top, unnecaasry drama slow motion drama and glamor
Loved it, something different from usual haute bites and interviews. Good job Aamna & Hassan 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thoroughly enjoyed this segment wish it was longer!!! Awesome really. Thank you both
This was wonderful! Thanks for bringing this to us.... Marina Khan is the reason I first watched Pakistani drama's as a young girl living in the UK, on VHS tapes - Dhoop Kinare is an alltime fave!
Marina mam and Sarmad are such a good and adorable personalities, it's soothing to hear them, love and duas for both of them.well done something haute.👍☺️
Hassan u should interview affan & durre together
My mother in law lived the same unfortunate life ... my father in law went to muscat to fulfill his family responsibilities and they suffered a lot through out their lives. Every scene reminds me the pain they went through their life... everyone was happy for the money and facilities coming to the house except these two and their children...😞😞😞
Both are beautiful actor I like dramas God-bless you always👍❤
Thoroughly enjoyed the interviews..Thank you Amna and Hassan for it ❤️👍
Huge fan of Marina Khan and affan Waheed, live you both 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞 from chitral
We are going to miss shaista and sarmad.
Is something cooking between Affan and Durre? They would become a powerful couple.
No
My favourite actor affan waheed best and beautiful
Sarmad is so watchable in executing his craft!
Today’s on Father’s Day, I think this would be the best episode gift from something Haute.
I remember when my father was away just for a year and how our relatives started like our father( in negative way)
Alhamdulillah my father came back! Allah mere abbu salamat rahain 🥰Ameen
Pardes such a gem drama Dur e Fishan had such a beauty and brain also Dur e Fishan big fan of u
You both have such a cool chemistry!😄
I wish Gohar would stop saying “ theek hai “ every few seconds !
I am watching for Sarmad. Don't kill his character. Also my dad was overseas since 70s. It had a huge effect on our development and the way society and schools treated us.
Why didn’t he take you overseas with him? My mums father did the same and brought his whole family to live with him after they were being abused by in laws back in Pakistan. Happily settled in U.K. now whereas I know those who father or partners still live abroad and wives and kids suffering back home
It's hard to see Affan with Dure because of his amazing chemistry with Ramsha in Shehnai 😊
This narrative is soo beautifully imparted to the viewers that each scene captivates your heart and your feel yourself transformed to their world. Amazing series masha Allah. Thank you for this Something Haute.
I have not watched pardes as yet but listening to Nadeem Baig I realized that when my kids were little my husband was working as a reporter with a daily newspaper and used to come home very, very late and my kids were not able to spend the evenings with him and the gnawing gap was there so yes the children do suffer the most
What an amazing idea...going on the set of a drama and talked to many artists. I wish Amna took interview of Marina herself
this drama reminds me qaid e tanhai which was onaired on hum tv and written by umera ahmed ...
Yes ... quite similar...
very nice short interviews Guhar, Nadeem , Samrad Marina part was great Affan part was too short we can understand y his part was short
Wow! Keep it up something Haute👌👍✌Affan is all time fav ' now dure you 💞and no doubt SARMAD is the one and only who's acting is mesmerizing us 🤗with the pair of ever green shahista

Maza agaya, all deserves complete interviews. Looking forward to the second half and Affan with someone other then Hira , but who is this new girl ?
Dur e fishan
Thank god someone other than Hira this time.
The place where Hassan is interviewing Shaista, the poster behind him was so distracting for me. My mind started recalling the whole conflict of that poster. So please take care to choose the place.... Decoration pieces are good enough.
Sarmad is gold....his view and talent 👌
Save dramas like shehnai to watch after pardes
Waiting for ppl to get triggered by the Mera Jism painting at the back !! 😂

I want amna to interview Sarmad personally...
Loving each scene in the drama,
Thank you Haute Officials for this Haute Chat on Set,
Your critical analysis is truly like from the horses mouth...
I wonder why all r worried n concerned about the drama proceeding into the second generation ... is it only because of a newcomer or they feel the couple of Affan n Durefishan cannot carry the same aura as Sarmad n Shaista or the next generation does not have the child trauma effect so it would not continue the aura built up...
I personally believe the story is strong n will keep hooked
Affan n Durefishan are professional n talented actors n will maintain the charm ahead ... inshallah gaining much more GRP's n TRP's for the channel n the production house ......
brilliant performances In Pardes. All are looking great 👍 👌

Sarmad's interview is requested.
Affan k expression when they asked to end the interview haha and omg Hassan was keep blushing ☺️ while interviewing Durre 🥰
Dur-e-fishan seemed very nervous.
Sorry to say Marina Ji, Asim’s character is not cute or comical, or at least that’s not how it was pulled off on the screen. This character is definitely not light. It portrayed a selfish person who turned out to be a family breaker.

Lovely to see Marina as always ♥️♥️♥️Big fan of Sarmad khoosat too ♥️♥️Must watch Pardes now
Hi guys! This was a really good show with a little insight from everyone! I just wanted to express my opinion on why negative characters are more attractive.
I feel, a negative character exudes confidence, a go getter kinda attitude and somebody who will go to any lengths without caring for consequences.
The negative actions are not what is attractive but the attitude of the person per se. not every negative character is appealing example Joey mama from dar si jaati hai silla but when you have a man who is confident in himself , his strength and passion is what is attractive. example many of feroz’s characters, danish’s character in deewangi. They were arrogant, wanted something because they were passionate about it without caring for right or wrong.
Our nice guys are shown to be too nice and meek which people interpret it as weakness.
Humayun Saeed in Dillagi is more attractive than as Danish in meray pass tum ho. So if you show a good guy, who is confident, shows strength and is sauve, he’s a more attractive character!
That’s my take, would love feedback on it 😊
Well said 👍

I have not expected Shaista Lodhi will perform such an excellent character 👏. I live abroad and don't watch regularly so it is my first time watching Sarmad with his calmness in the role he reminded me of late Mohammed Shafi. Sarmad has done excellent performance.
All of us living abroad might have story of our own. All and above big koodoos🙏 to the whole team. There were few sceen were very close to my life and were very emotional.
Sarmad khosat is the Dilip Kumar of Pakistan…. Wat an acting with best timings and pauses…
Very true, abroad life is sometimes very tragic, specially whenever traditional events are there you mis your family too much.
