i don't know why people have to apologize for using there festool tools it saddens me. people need to realize they're not spending there money on it. i would bet that those people by the best tools they can afford for whatever job they do. i cant afford one but it is the best tool for the job and people who can afford it shouldn't be penalized. thanks for the great vid

Yep, If I could afford one I would get one. No need to apologise.

Nice work Paul, on all the builds. Working for family is always hard, but if the reward was a Festool, then I could put up with it ;0

Your mum kept changing so we got to see your skills, craftsmanship ability to problem solve and knowledge in full! YOU PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS MY FRIEND! Yes it is hard to craft for family unless it's a surprise gift and then really it's just you and your imagination.

Love it mate. Looks fantastic. Really felt sorry for the bandsaw on that massive re-saw though!

Hehe, thanks. The saw is a trooper with the 1 3/4hp motor, it'll survive. Next time I'll make sure I have better in and outfeed support to be a bit more gentle

That is a very nice piece. I just started my own channel so I subscribed to yours to get inspiration.

How about less footage on repetitious cutting and sanding and more assembly shots. that is what beginners want to know. Telling what each piece is for as you make them is a great help these things would make a good vid better.

I like the unattached parts, it's kind of a living structure. I waste so much time on " being afraid to commit to a design" just incase I may want to change something, someday. (Ps I never do!)

Lou Adzima My wife has just (yesterday!) finished a TAFE cabinet making course and the biggest thing she got out of that was realising that you learn more from doing more projects - be they craftsman or design failures, or successes - than from getting one project done perfectly.
Once she learnt to "let go" and just "get it done", gosh her skills improved out of sight!
