Personally, I’d enjoy seeing the modern era and the 90s era clash. Tougher defense and much more physical play by miles COULD have the effect of wearing out a lighter, more agile team by pounding them in the paint.
I don't think so. I think the modern era could adjust. Great players will adjust to any era they're put in.

Even if you put them in a best of 7, the modern teams would probably be beaten up after the 2nd game the point where they would have to stay strictly out of the paint and hope that they are on point from beyond the arc. Old school could pound inside and make it down the court in transition.

Theory Idea: Just how many fireable offenses has Michael Scott committed during his time as regional manager of the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch? How many of these would go even further into legal repercussions or even criminal charges?
The Monstars played more football style since they relied more on defensive and offensive tactics. They'd honestly be lit in football.

Counter-theory: The Monstars stealing talent was simply an intimidation tactic against the Tunes who would be oblivious to human basketball stats
Except they’re not. The whole reason the Aliens got the idea to steal the talent from basketball stars was cause the Tuned said something along the lines of “Basketball has some of the best players on the world” (don’t remember the exact quote) while showing a feed from a human basketball game. Not to mention how would they know to get Michael Jordan if they where oblivious to human basketball stars?

I’ve always loved the original space jam, and honestly I’m scared to watch the remake of it. Also, I’m glad to say I recognized all the jokes in reference to Space Jam in this :D.
Additionally, I don't even think the Monstars were even good foils for the tunes... They fail on almost every level. Including being good antagonists.
Marvin the Martian was officiating the game old school style. Hence, the Monstars were able to play like the Bad Boys Pistons & 90s Knicks.

What makes you think they would have necessarily stolen the talents of the same players as they did the last time they played if they were to return? The players got their talents back near the end of the movie. Would they really all hunt down the same players wherever they were or would it be more likely they'd rob from new players out of the first teams they saw after landing?
Dear film theory, The new spongebob show Kamp Koral ( is that how you spell it?) has a BUNCH of lore drops. Just to give an example in the episode Kitchen Sponge it was the beginnings of planktons evil plans and it reveals that spongebob was the original maker of the krabby pattie. And that sandy may be a time god. This would be an amazing episode.

It seems like this video was made under the assumption that the Monstars would have the basketball abilities of the same players as in the original movie. Since the Monstars lost their stolen basketball abilities at the end of Space Jam 1, they would have had to reacquire some. I doubt that they would have stolen them from the same players as in the original, and would have likely gotten their abilities from newer faces to the NBA.

Hey MatPat! I have been wondering this for years. In the movie Child's Play 3, the beginning shows Chucky's body being picked up by a claw (THE CLAAAAWWW) (sorry had to do it) and bleeding into a vat of molten rubber to possess the new doll. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but not all of that rubber would've been used for just one doll. So why is there only one Chucky at the time? Or was there only one Chucky at the time? Are there more like in Cult Of Chucky? Could that explain how there were 2 Chuckys in Cult Of Chucky to start with? I would LOVE if you made a video on this!
