Wait till they find out that FEMA is of no help at all. That’s the saddest part of it all. It has been 19 months for me from hurricane Ian and FEMA has not helped me once. My home is still studs. That’s such a shame because that is our federal government. Shame on them!

Believe it or not, folks USED to be that way here until so many entitled nimrods moved in and turned the Bay Area into a pile of non-melting snowflakes. (In other words, they won't go away). I’m so sorry 😢 for their loss
Living in this area is constant anxiety. Chances are you won't ever be affected by a tornado and people are actually used to the warnings and even shrug off the sirens. But they can happen anywhere and you just never know if you'll be next when these storms roll through. And if you get hit, it's total destruction in a matter of seconds and there's almost nothing you can do other than get underground while every possession you own is destroyed.
Every house should be required to have a basement or safe room. If your not underground your not safe. God bless all those lost. One is too many 😢

That means government, local, state or fed, sticking their nose in our business.
We have enough of that going on.
I've never seen a basement in Oklahoma in my 63 years of life.
I've heard of a few...very few, because the ground has either, in my area, high water table, or the ground shifts too much, which will cause failures in basement walls, then structural problems.
Below ground cellars, run $5000.00. Indian tribes hand them out to ones on the roll, wealthier can afford them, so it's the poor folks that suffer. If there was a low-interest, low payment plan, then the lower income could afford and pay-out a cellar.
People work to hard for everything they have especially their homes. Praying for all of you struggling right now.

The sad part is that, very publicly known and seen on radar, companies like SOAR I believe it is are out doing cloud seeding. The channel Monkey Werx US was affected by a storm in Texas recently and the weatherman said this is way ahead of the scheduled predictions by a few hours and it was producing large hail. He tracked a cloud seeding planes flight path to the area with correct timing.

So devastating! Local churches are great to donate to. They usually help the community.
You just never know where these tornados will strike and the damage they leave behind. This is so horrible this town was hit so hard and lives lost. I hope they get help so they can rebuild what they lost. I just hope many have home owners insurance because don't expect help from the government.
