I always feel like my notes are never good enough.
I do try to write what will make me search for more info when I get home.
I never thought of writing a prayer for my pastor at the end of my notes!

I always hated writing notes, but I was told I did it so well (and still do)
Asking for prayer over my family. I had covid and was hospitalized August 2nd-11th and I am getting better and feeling much better, however my husband and 6yo son have it now. Please pray for their healing and that my 3 daughters do not get it. Thank you

Thank you! What I’m doing now is taking sermon notes in my notebook and mondays I’m dedicating to revisiting my notes too add into my Bible journal 😊

My church does live streaming, which is awesome for reviewing the sermon later in the week or month. I also try later to write out all the scriptures my pastor refers to. It helps me remember later on - TRY being the operative word.

I am so blessed to work in the church office - so I have a VERY direct line to our Pastor!!
This was super helpful. I'm a note taker and love taking sermon notes and I try to go over it on Monday while it's still fresh. But I love writing down the questions and writing a prayer before it starts to get my focus on Him and not me. Our family is very close to our pastor, we are like family with them so I can totally text him my questions or ask afterward and I have to say whenever I have had questions or thoughts or application he loves that.

@@HowtoFaithALife I have a job where I work on Sunday morning our church does the morning services Sunday morning. There's times I don't feel like going Sunday night and wed night I know I can text my pastor and he gives me the scripture that he preached on can I still make notes?

I'm new to note taking. I never took notes in school. It was actually a stretch for me to even highlight a few things in my bible today. I don't have a problem marking up my bible, at least not anymore. I just don't really know where to start with note taking.
I'm adding that.
I'm going to end my notes with prayer for everyone around me *and* for a person not (yet?) in that empty pew.

Most churches in my area are megachurches, 5hey have 3 different times for a worship and they have no Bible study on Sunday's , usually during the week by a Christian author. I prefer a study like Kay Arthur or verse mapping, S.O.A.P. , a good topic study something that teaches from the Bible

Random question lol: I remember in one of your videos a while ago, you were talking about one of the letters in the NT. And the church it was written to was in an area where sin was VERY prevalent. I think you said what what Rome was doing privately they doing doing openly. Can you tell me what church it was or what video if it's okay? I didn't write it down (ironic considering today's video lol) and I was trying to remember and I wanted to watch the video again. I'm sorry for being a pain.

Also … $270 might not be in my budget atm so is there another bible you would suggest. I love interleaved, hard cover, the size of the bible you have currently, the thickness of your pages …. Any ideas???
I am new to actually listening to the sermon. Taking notes is hard. Everything goes so fast and I’m trying really hard to pay attention and absorb what my pastor is saying.
In school I lost half the info I needed because I wasn’t fully focused.

I have FINALLY come to the decision that I’m due for a new bible and I have watched your channel for forever now. And I LOVE your bible. Extremely thought through for awhile now but I did not actually click on your Amazon link and it’s like $300!!!? Was it worth paying that? Realllly curious!
I DID NOT pay $300! They jacked up the price since my subscribers all went and bought it out. I paid $30. I love my Bible but PLEASE do not buy it at that price! I actually talk all about Bibles and the best Bible to buy in the video I post today!!!

What do you do if you "attend" more than 1 church? Do you put multiple church services in the same Bible or do you have different Bibles for each churches sermon notes?
Multiple churches all in one journal!
I attend multiple sermons and I record them in an app. I then rewrite my notes on paper. Most of the time, I will insert them in my bible separately. However, last Sunday we had two pastors preach on the same chapter. This was amazing! I consolidated the notes and inserted them into my Bible.
I have yet to make any sort of mark in any Bible. I love the idea of putting sermon notes in the Bible though. Right now actively looking (and saving) for a Bible I can do this with. And wondering how multiple notes would look like. I'm very intrigued though and really want to try this

Hey Faith? I have a question for ya.....what do you do if you have trouble taking notes because your brain can't keep up with your pastor because he goes fast and there's no sermon outline in a bulletin? About the time I try to write something down, he's jumping to another point in his sermon and I can't write that fast! My brain has trouble keeping up!
HMMMM, that's tricky! Is there recordings online where you could re-watch it at home and stop/pause it to take notes?
