    Ah yes.
    The Warrior of Light.
    My favorite Final Fantasy protagonist.
    I am not joking.
Everyone thinks he is one dimensional but I think he is like a mix of Captain America and classic Good Superman.
    Great!
I am so tired of making Superman a bad guy all the time!
And Captain America is my favorite of the Avengers, his movies are the greatest.
A great example that a pure heart and righteous hero can and still works.

    I have a good theory.
Kronika is an inperfect Manakin created by Cid, who's modeled after Cid's daughter, and serves as a sister to "CHAOS". However, because Kronika fucked up a grand majority of Disney and Square Enix Worlds, and because of this Cid banished her to an outside realm near the the Midway interstate, which lead her to lead a group of beings known as the titans, and fucked up the Midway interstate by creating her stupid cycle near the Midway interstate's mirror dimension, the Netherrealm interstate.
Not only that, but Cid was aware of Garland's time loop, so he created his artificial counterpart, known as Quan Chi (who's really his World B counterpart), but because Quan Chi decided to be a retarded criminal, Cid's wife was killed by Quan Chi. He was banished by the lunfenians into the Midway interstate after that.
There, he met an elder god named Shinnonk, and he served him until his death in 1997. After that he formed an alliance with a sorcerer who's a body double of a soldier named Big Boss, named Shant Tsung. After that, he was sent into the Netherrealm Interstate because of Kronika's stupid cycles, and there she turned Quan Chi from a retard, to a evil genius, by swapping his mind with Shang Tsung, but then realized it was a stupid idea, so she reverted their minds back, so she can see Quan Chi die after realizing he was going to kill her after screwing over with continunity. But hey, that's just a theory... and not just and crappy theory... A LAME Theory!

I love when stories are re-told in a different manner to shed further light on stuff which we've already seen through one eye, especially when it has a huge twist going for it.
But I have to absolutely agree with you on your point about Tetsuya Nomura, the man really does seem to go out of his way to create some convoluted stuff. It's either
    A. He thinks it's a genius of a plot story when it's just convoluted, or
    B. He's just doing it for the laughs like how SOP: FFO really leans into the edginess without dialing it back down even till the 3/4th part of the game.

@@9773an Sigh. Saying that it's meant to be understood is more or less calling him a bad writer in a roundabout way or at least excusing for being a lazy one due to the obsession with "lore" nowadays. Having to fill in the gaps of the writer *is* bad in the vast majority instances since even with an element of mystery, you as a reader should be able to come to a (satisfying) conclusion for most instances, at least for the things that actually need answers. Otherwise you get the type of lazy tripe that people like Tetsuya Nomura and J.J. Abrams "excel" at writing with nonsensical character motivations and inconsistencies all for the sake of artificially hyped mysteries that more disappointing than not--provided you ever get any actual answers at all.
You can like it all you want; no one's saying you can't, including me. Just don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining when it comes Nomura's bad writing and largely bland characters, especially via a shallow appeal to popularity. I was someone who used to be a fan of the series, but I'm *so* glad I stopped at _KH2_ given what a dumpster fire _Birth by Sleep_ alone was with its terrible story that basically fucked up everything else from then on. The later games have mostly been in the same _Birth By Sleep_ vein narrative-wise, which is why the series is such a joke now for all its popularity.
P.S. The story of _Kingdom Hearts_ isn't even that difficult to understand for the most part, just unnecessarily convoluted. There's a difference between convolution and actual complexity, and _Kingdom Hearts_ does not have the latter, especially given what simple concepts it ultimately boils down to and constantly espouses, i.e. light, darkness, heart, friendship, etc. (A story being simple or having simple themes doesn't mean it's bad of course, but in the case of _Kingdom Hearts_ that is the case unfortunately. Hell, Xehanort didn't even really get punished for all the shit he put literally thousands of people through after two decades of being the big bad, which is "hilarious".)

It takes place in a completely different timeline.
They go through hundreds, potentially Thousands of cycles, of loops, of Repeats of the history of Cornelia. • @ShockwaveFPSStudios
      @ShockwaveFPSStudios Před 2 lety

Zidane was still a ladies man in Dissidia, the same goes for his optimism and his compassion. Luneth was only the name of the player character for the FF3 Remake, the Onion Knight in Dissidia is based on the job of the same name from the Original NES version of 3, he’s also not really a coward as in the Dissidia games, he’s portrayed as an intelligent boy who just doesn’t like it whenever other characters treat him as a little kid. Terra’s role in Dissidia is pretty accurate to her arc in VI (Which I’ll get to at the end), where she starts off as a mind controlled puppet from Kefka, but after she’s freed from her mind control she starts to learn the importance of emotions and becomes her own person who isn’t mind controlled by a wannabe Joker. As for Cloud, well in Dissidia his personality is a mix between his SOLDIER & true personalities from the original FF7, his personality wasn’t really really watered down. All of the Main Protagonists’ that were in The Original Dissidia’a Storylines are inspired by their arcs in their respective titles, and with their arcs being in Dissidia, the same goes to their personalities.

  • @ironrex6979

Dissidia contradicts Stranger of Paradise. Since Garland stated the Warriors of Light will be born in Cornelia instantly rejecting (thankfully) Dissidia’s Manakin WoL. Not only that but Darkness Manifested is a super natural being rejecting (thankfully) Dissidia’s Chaos being an experiment. As a Prequel SoP works a lot better than Dissidia.
Dissidia also isn’t meant to be canon. Dissidia (thankfully) was meant to be ambiguous in order for fans to decide. In my case I always treated Dissidia as it’s own thing. I thought the characterizations and overall story ruined the all the other Final Fantasy games. Some more than others mind you. Also as a big fan of FF1 I never liked the concept of Chaos being an experiment nor WoL being a Manakin. It left a bad taste in my mouth that SoP fixes by returning things to how they should be.
