I'm kinda sad to see a map that doesn't reward creative abuse of mechanics. The tau firebombs feel like the creeper world equivalent of sticking a few cheerleaders behind a ballista
That's a great way to describe it, haha. Definitely feels overtuned, considering how much more it hurts the human side to lose the buildings that are hit than the creeper side loses
Without a background in TABS, that last sentence is absolutely incomprehensible. Which is just how I like my Tom Lore. 😂
Love the discovery of the TAU bombs. It's like you were digging a big hole with a spoon and then suddenly realized you had a backhoe sitting there just waiting to be used.
I started the video with the volume turned all the way down.
I feel heard "uh bam, welcome to Creeper World 4 everybody" in my head
By the time I turned the volume back on, Tom was introducing the map right in time.

lol VPAC maps in a nutshell, 1st run with no idea what to use: 1 - 4 hours later "Why haven't I been using this?!?!? It saves so much time......", 2nd run: 10min or less "Yes my buildings/creep, take all the drugs, haahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!"
TAU might, possibly, perhaps, be ever so slightly OP...

I do recommend the VPAC Testing Initiative series (abbreviated to TI by the 7th mission) as it introduces VPAC and has a moddest difficulty climb.
This is an ironstone VPAC map that I collaborated with him to make but I only did the coding like the falling satellites. The level design was his doing so it was of lower quality compared to VPAC standards but I wasn't going to tell him how to make maps as I would basically take over the collab to do that.
Hope to see you play more VPAC maps. I am always open to criticism and feedback (so long as it's constructive).

Is this a map of South East Asia? The island at the bottom right are Malaysia and Thailand, Taiwan is off on the right, center bottom is India, and the high ground through the middle are Himalayas

fitting to call it tau, feel like that was an intentional warhammer reference since it kills your own stuff if you get "melee" of it, devastating long range power, bad melee

Oh now these were some really cool weapons and such, I mean the nukes and TAU XD ha ha, goodness. I do hope we get more of these maps, perhaps the other continents?
