- Chaz "Slim" Williams met 50 Cent when he was coming up in his career, and the Black Hand Entertainment founder spoke to us about witnessing Fif and Ja Rule's infamous 2000 altercation in Atlanta.
Chaz explained that he convinced 50 Cent to speak with Ja Rule outside of their Atlanta hotel. While the conversation ended up going left and a fight ensued, Chaz claims that 50 didn't have a scratch on him. Chaz explained that he stuck by 50 Cent after the incident, but he added that they parted ways after Fif didn't to show up to a meeting with Murder Inc. to discuss dropping the situation, signaling to Williams that the situation wouldn't be resolved quickly.

I did not say Chaz set him up. Preme put the hit on 50 but Chaz did not try to talk to Preme and knew about the hit and 50 said what he said in Many Men because 50 and Chaz were suppose to be cool. The reason Chaz did not try to stop Preme is because of 50 skipping that meeting which was a meeting that Chaz had put together as a Mutual mediator to try to Sqash the Murder INC/Preme vs. 50 Cent Problem. Instead of trying to meet and squash the beef, 50 stood everybody up. This video confirms that Ja did feel some kind of way about 50 standing with Lil Troy (the guy who robbed Ja Rule). However, it sounds like the video shoot story is true as well. At the end of the day, you can definitely say 50 started the beef by feeling some kind of way about Ja snubbing him. He basically made the Life’s on the Line song based on that alone.
I believe both sides of the Lil Troy story are true between 50 and Ja..
