This is something we never thought we'd get to do - a weekend down in London as a family! Andy has refused to come to London for a long time, but he came down for a quick visit last year on the way home from Legoland (link below), but when we started to plan this year's weekend at Vidcon London, he got really interested in coming with us - especially to see the o2, so we booked an AirBnB for the whole family! ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
I'm a 37 year old CZcamsr from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process. I started this channel back in 2017 and by the time I left my full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July of that year, my partner Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator and always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my ongoing journey! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and The Chapman Family.

Its great to see Andy progressing. I think i understand how parents might feel about us with autism, thinking we wont all make it through to adulthood without learning and meeting milestones as fast as they think we should. But with the right support and things in place, WE CAN get there!

Over the top of it? No chance! The cable cars were closed most of the weekend because of the wind, it would have been terrifying up there!

What is Anna studying ?
I am worried that Andys school might not be looking after him very well. He seems to generally behave worse and be uncomfortable at school than at home? Perhaps that suggests that the school needs to get their act together and adjust how they treat him, possible up the ressources they spend on him etc.
The above was my thoughts when watching the 'Andy-video' from February 3rd. Thought I should post it here as well in case this input is helpful to you Kev.
The school does an amazing job given andys complex needs. They have a lot of students to look after they cant just tailor the entire school for one person.

I know they vary by location but the Natural History Museum in NY is one of my favorite places on earth its what keeps me from moving out of state shame Lucy and Owen didn't seem to enjoy it much
That and the Met are my favorite museums in NYC.
@@TheEquus92 yes the MET is another favorite spot of mine I love museums, book stores and Libraries its visually and mentally stimulating I get to walk around and these places tend to be pretty quiet and chill

Loads! At least 20, if you count the sofas as 3 seaters and include the balcony.

That would be a fun place for all of them build a bear has lots of properties to choose from Disney, Marvel, pokemon, DC, etc something for everyone

Hey kev, my school is having 23 people self isolate and my drama teacher who I was with for 5 hours yesterday is really ill in A&E being tested for Coronavirus. And my school isn’t closing for cleaning. I’m terrified. Everyone who is self isolating was ill before the isolation period started and it seems quite likely someone may have it due to the level of illness. I wish my school would just close for cleaning, but hey safety above grades. They are even still using the quarantined teacher’s classrooms today before they had been cleaned.
Seriously my school is closing for the rest of the week because of a ski trip even though it was in a region with no confirmed cases. But yet your school won't close or clean even though it sounds way more serious
Cloud District yeah I don’t feel safe going in. I spent 5 hours with my drama teacher yesterday because we had a practise practical exam. How would they explain it if loads of my local community got Coronavirus after the school didn’t shut soon enough. My drama teachers results will take 3 days to come through.

I think it was really struggling with the low light. The rest of the series is mostly shot in day time and on the big camera, so shouldn’t be as much of an issue

This was unusually blurry and very difficult to watch at times, as you were panning so fast.
I was using the G7X Mark 3 because I’ve broken the hinge on my Mark 2. The autofocus is awful - I didn’t use it much for the rest of the weekend after I saw this footage
