Prabhas, Prithvi Raj, and the rest of the cast's acting were perfect in this film. I have seen some people complaining about Prabhas not giving enough expressions. I was like, dude, he is playing a stoic character; of course he is going to have a poker face. Is using your brain a crime?
Its all justified why he remains so straight forward and dull..he just conveyed the emotions when needed in after kaateramma fight when old lady touches his hand❤❤and guyz nobody is saying prabhas is not giving expression these are only 1,2 paid reviews
I agree with everyone's acting being perfect except Shruti Hasan. I strongly felt she overreacted and kind of faked it throughout the entire film. Let me know if it's just my observation or if anyone else thinks that
Exactly!! People just want a usual hero delivering punch dialogues all the time. Many didn't understand Deva character and why he remains silent and hidden throughout.

Well, it's obvious that Prasanth Neel's intention was to just introduce the Khansaar world to us in Salaar Part 1. The dude is cooking something big for Shouryaanga Paravam.
The only cooking he was doing was overhyping Parbas throughout the whole movie for no reason and showing women only as sex objects for men. Salaar 1 was cash grab thats why all the story was only in 20 min end of the movie, the rest were nonsense of Parbas's entry.
@@Mystic_LibraI agree that a lot of the time, especially first half was a slow overhyped mess, but the thing about seeing women as sex objects seems a bit dismissive (this is assuming you’re talking about the ladies or girls of the tribe in red), the movie goes out of its way to show how nasty of a person treating them like sex commodities was and then it impales his skull and shows it as a celebration, its entire messaging during that part of the movie was that you should treat women or people that way. If you are talking about when shruti Hassan’s character just gives phrabas her hand I would agree with you and even say that as cringe, I’m pretty sure even achara or Steph said so too (if I remember correctly)
Another thing I’d agree with you on is about this movie feeling like a cash grab, kansar and its story should have been flushed out properly through a trilogy or something, because this movie was just a lore dump for the next part

The BGM in Salaar is far superior compared to a lot of international films; it's very cinematic; it perfectly fits the tone of the film; and it has the right amount of music usage for every scene. Neel's style of music is very unique; Ravi Basur deserves credit.
True. And for me, Salaar BGM > KGF BGM. Though KGF's BGM is good, I just felt it's kind of repetitive, if it makes sense.

The Shouryaanga tribe is physically much stronger compared to the other tribes, which is quite obvious. Looking at the set-up given to the Shouryaanga tribe, the battle is going to be huge in Part 2.
This Movie Will be remembered for giving nightmares to haters online reviewers +uneducated fans of srk(Many educated fans of Srk Supported SALAAR)
I am happy that both the movies did well at box office. Dunki's low budget definitely helped..

What I love about Prasanth Neel is that, however strong his characters are or large the universe be, there is a mother-emotion sentiment underneath it, which very well connects with Indians, mainly the men.
Prabhas shot the action sequences of this film with a broken knee. He had a knee surgery scheduled but he gave priority to complete the movie.
Even in the stunt sequences we can see him limping and with limited knee movement. For the kicks there was a body double used. Hence we don't see his face clearly. He even bled during a stunt sequence.

Salaar had to face a lot of negativity during its run, just like Animal. The funny thing is that the majority of the negativity for these two films came from the section of the audience that did not even watch the film, and obviously the corporate media. Still, it did not stop the film from being profitable, and now OTT is helping the film reach more audiences, which will directly increase the curiosity for Part 2.

The Main Reason Prabhas is so powerful in this movie is he belongs to saurangya tribe. Shaurangya tribe pepole are so poweerful physically so Vardhas dad planned them to kill them while they were sleeping Shaurangyas are such powerfull
And we dont know whether Deva and Vardha both knew that deva was from saurangya or not.
Now will deva be the king as his right for his people and his father sacrifice or he will full fill his promise made to his Freind
And If Deva Knowingly came to Khansaar to Revenge for his dad and moms pain was all this his plan or He came for his friend.
But in INterval it has shown That They became enemy already when deva saves shruti hassan from seal and It is said that he is the one who created that seal. Is deva already the king , why he lives out of khansaar now and how they became eenemy
I think Deva and Varda knew their tribes. That's why Varda asks Deva and his mom to leave the place.
Deva might have given up the throne for his friend, inspite of the fact that hisbtribe was waiting for him. He might have not full filled the tribe's wish but in all this process of fighting not sure what point made them such strong enemies.
It's just a guess , but in the flashback varadha asks deva to protect his brother and we don't see that character in the present timeline, maybe something leads to deva ending up killing varadhas brother, which leads to them becoming enemies.

Everyone talks about the greatness of the movie, script and direction of Prashanth Neel, but what makes this movie extraordinary is the BGM and the music, it hits you and gives goosebumps. Hats off to Ravi Basrur.

This movie deserved much more love and success in general and at the box-office! There was just too much of unnecessary & untrue negative noise about the film everywhere.
I think the reason many people didn't liked it was because the story is similar to Neel's debut film Ugramm which I feel is still his better work than this. The second part with new story will definitely work more..

Salaar faced a lot of negativity especially because it clashed with SRK's film. Salaar had lesser screens WW than Dunki but Salaar minted 700crs+ even with limited screens & Adult certification completely dominating at the clash with 2.5crs+ Footfalls WW 🙌

Salaar Part 2 is yet to start shooting.. Sorry it might come next year or 2026 ...depends on the Prabhas's and the director Prasanth Neel's schedule. As Prabhas has a tight schedule with his commitments to other movies like Kalki, Rajasaab and Spirit. Prasanth neel also has a movie planned with Junior NTR. So we have to see how the things unfold.

Re-watched in Netflix and I started liking the film and the plot after noticing all the details.
