      It’s coming back. Slowly. We’ve been getting rain and cooler temperatures. I think it will bounce back nicely. 😅

    Why do you keep the back so low and not at max tire PSI? Why front so high?

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad  Před 2 lety

      The recommended PSI on the manual I have says…
      Back tires 9 to 11 PSI.
      Front tires 38 to 46 PSI.
      I imagine it helps with deck heights and pitching because Ariens engineered it around that tire tolerance. 🤷‍♂️
      Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

      @@theSuburbiaDad I did the psi the way the manual says and leveled my deck today. Do the back tires seem very low to you at 11 PSI? I feel like if I push hard enough I can pop them lol.

    I leveled and pitched mine today with it set at 4.5 inches. When I put it down to 4 inches the level was off by more than I had adjusted it to at 4.5 but the pitch seemed to be the same. So I leveled it again at 4 inches and it seemed closer as I lowered it down. But was off by a little more at 4.5 inches. Have you experienced this? And if so have you found a best height to level it at?

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad  Před rokem

      Couple questions… Check tire pressure first? Measuring blade height, not deck?

    • @rickjames1246
      @rickjames1246 Před rokem +1

      @@theSuburbiaDad got the tires set good before I started. I also used the same tool that you did. I got the front set good at 4.5 and when I was raising one side of the back I got to a point where it started messing with that side of the front. So I started over when that happened.

    • @theSuburbiaDad

      @@rickjames1246 I like to set my pitch between 3 and 4 inches when I do it. I start on the front and then back for each side. Then switch sides. I do chute side first. Preference I suppose. Make sure height tool is on cutting tip edge of blade. Mine slips off sometimes because it is so close to the edge of the blade. Let me know what happens. Try to set front at 3. Back at 3.25ish.

      @rickjames1246 Před rokem +1

      @@theSuburbiaDad when you set it at that height, have you ever rechecked it at 4 or 4.5 just to see if it is still the same? I got mine currently adjusted to 4 in the fronts and around 4.25 to 3/8 in the backs.

    • @theSuburbiaDad
