As a DJ when I discovered this song a couple of years ago I was almost certain it would be a huge huge hit. To this day I’m shocked this song is so underrated! How this didn’t top the charts and beat roses/don’t let me down astonishes me. This is by far one of their best/most underrated songs they’ve ever done. I’ll sneak this into my DJ sets and it shocks me how so many ask me what new banger this is. Whoever is marketing for the Chainsmokers missed the mark on this one.
The drops aren't that powerful or melodious. Compared to other chainsmoker songs. But still a good song.
@@VibrantLivingGuide Ye i agree the drop was very dry IMO , drums were too reserved , definitely needed some more layering maybe a couple pads since its more electro-pop and the "vocal-chops" needed more volume. It didn't have that unique Chainsmoker vibe for me.

Honestly in my whole entire life, this is the cleanest produce of a song I've ever heard. I remember a few years ago when I first heard it, I'm mindblowned about the sound. All the elements - vocals, foleys, synths, etc. fit so perfectly together. Great sound selection must be a key factor to this and The Chainsmokers did an impressive job producing this song.
