I have many battery powered Festool machine now . So it's sad that this machine lacks the strength... Metabo LTX have twice the torque compared with this machine.
When I have watched other reviews... It sounds that this machine is really struggling when it's handling heavy duty work.
In addition, it's feel feel cheap with a plastic chuck according to my opinion. Hope for a updated version Festool...

No one worth their salt drives a forstner bit straight through a piece of wood without counterboring from the opposite side.

that's right ! but I guess that was just shown as an example. One shall use his forstner much more aligned as well !
