By far the nicest interior on any new truck🤷🏻♂️ and a more reliable engine that’s more efficient than the v-8 diesels. Can’t go wrong with one with a aisin transmission too.
Just traded my 17 powerstroke in for a 20 limited ram Cummins . Got 54k for my powerstroke got the Cummins for 72k . Rides so much better and obviously night and day difference in technology

I’m not a Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC type of guy. It’s whatever catches my eye. However, I’ve had a 97 Ford F-150. That truck never had one problem at all. It was my first pick up. I do love the body of a Dodge. Heck, I love all of these big trucks. I guess it depends on what your going to use it for. Mine would be just for looks. SO......... what am I saying here. I’m planning on getting a Dodge Ram 2500. I just like the way it looks🤷🏽♂️. The only thing a may pull is a boat, that’s about it.
The fog light looked like it was out
The Ram and some of the other newer trucks (I would assume) turn the fog light on with the turn signal so that you can see into the turn better. The drivers side wasn't out...the passenger side was just on because his right turn signal was on. Does look odd at first though.
That is real wood on the steering wheel. I own a 2020 Ram 2500 limited Mega Cab Black appearance package. Sikest truck I have owned. It not plastic though. Real wood, look it up.

If you got the 6.4 hemi you could get the 4.71 gears? I can't remember exactly what the gear ratio was but I think that was it

I bought a 2019 ram 2500 Laramie Cummins, traded my 2017 f350 6.7 diesel. Had the ram for 3 weeks. Traded the ram in for 2019 f 350 lariat 6.7 . Interior was nice in ram , I tow 14,000 almost daily. Hit a bump with the 2500 with 14,000 behind it . Throws truck around. Dangerous on the highway. Ford tows like a truck . Ram tows like a car . Powerstoke definitely pulls harder and shifts better. Not sure if ram 3500 tows any better. Wasn't going to take another chance. Ford all the way !

I.drove one for a day. It was a TURD on power. The 2020 Powerstroke blower it away. That truck out the door they came down to 53.00 I got my 2018 f250 with a 87.000 sticker for 52.078 out the door at Keith Hawthorne Ford with a lifetime powertrain warranty... No way was the Dodge a comparison at all.
Danny Parker You’re comparing a V8 to and I6. It’s apples to oranges. Ram trucks handle weight better and do better on fuel. It’s nice that there is a 50-gallon tank option on long beds now. That’s also better than Ford’s big tank.

Danny Parker First of all, it’s Cummins. Secondly, unless you were driving an actual Medium Duty truck, it didn’t have an Allison. The only way to have a Cummins/Allison combo is a custom set up that you do after purchasing or it being a higher class Medium Duty truck. No 2500 Cummins truck leaves the factory with an Allison. You are incorrect.

Check out the 2020 Ford F-250 limited, now those are very nice, although it won’t have the big screen but who cares, that big screens is distracting, I would check out the 2020 Ford F-250 limited then make your decision

Ram can give you a great discount because they know they will make it up in the service department. Search " The most unreliable vehicles on the rd today" and see which vehicle made number 1on that list.
That was the Ram 3500 in the last generation not this one. Just saying.

Just my opinion, but I would go with the a Ram 3500 with the Aisin Transmission. And that $9000 discount the dealer is giving is a standard rebate from Ram. No one pays the sticker price for these trucks, even redesigned 2019 models. All Ram dealerships will do $10K off the sticker price.

That's not a discount that's special. When I was looking at trucks last month, they gave me 10 grand off. I'm a first time buyer, with great credit, BUT I'D never financed before. So the 10k isn't any better than what I had. It's the same. Try to knock them down more. Hell. I got 6 grand off my ford.

Better get the extended warranty for the horrid transmission and front end components. It isn't the motor, it's the hunk of shit wrapped around it

He actually had a death wobble on his Ford that’s just part of having a straight axle but easy fix and less things to worry about than ifs which is not good for hot trucking because it’s more maintenance
Interior by far feels and looks better imo since 2014 they have really stepped it up and I’ve owned a high country
Transmission they usually run the aisin not the 68rfe but hey 68rfe has to keep up with all that low end power unlike the v8 diesel which also start giving you problems once they reach that power 🤷🏻♂️
And engine well more efficient and less expensive too maintain

Dude love your videos. I’m about to buy a new truck within the week. I’m torn between the F-250 or 2500. The Cummins in 2019 have better deals.
But question, you mentioned in your video the power is there. When I test drove both I felt the cummins was significantly slower. I’m thinking I didn’t let the turbo spool up. But I did two runs and it felt much slower than the powerstroke. Please change my mind. haha

Are you looking for a race car or a heavy duty truck? Who cares if the V8 diesel is a tad quicker in a sprint race? It’s a truck, made for hauling heavy loads! I’d ten times rather be a little bit behind in a race while looking at the interior of that Ram, than be a length ahead and looking at the bland interior of either the Ford or the GMC/Chevy. And oh, by the way, you’ll also be looking at the tail lights of the pimple faced kid in his Honda Civic that’s pulling away from you because none of these giant diesel trucks are intended to be race cars!
Throw a 15,000 lb trailer behind any of the big 3 and you’ll see why the Cummins is the best at what they were all designed to do!
Razors Edge Adventures You’re absolutely right! I test drove both 2020 F-250 and the 2019-20 Ram. It’s not all about sprint. Definitely not designed for it. But the difference in just response was much noticeable in my opinion. With the Cummins i’d say is excellent at towing. But the throttle response was just missing. Not sure if the transmission was getting confused a little. But I felt best for the cummins when accelerating was to lay into it about half and then 3/4 for a proper pull. I still haven’t made my purchase because I can’t make a decision haha but i’m also not a fan of Chrysler. But do love the Ram interior.
Grow Trade Learn I was always a Chevy guy until my wife talked me into the Ram in 2015. I reluctantly ordered a 2015 Ram 2500 with the 6.4 Hemi and the 4:10 rear. I checked ll the boxes I wanted and have to say the truck ha been fantastic in every regard... except fuel economy, but I’m now looking at a truck to take into retirement in a few years and I think the new Ram Limited with the Cummins is a great choice! TI be honest though, as much as I think the Cummins is as good or better than any of the others, it’s the interior that really swung the pendulum to the Ram’s side!

I’m a PowerStroke guy but I do like the 20 Ram. I still think you should check out the blacked out Tremor or AT4 GMC. Chevy doesn’t even make the cut for me with that ugly front end.

If you're gonna go with the Cummins I would recommend getting a 3500 because you can opt for the aisin transmission which is more reliable and you also get the 1000' pounds of torque stock. Also you can get it in the same wheel base as that 2500 crew cab short box

My 03 was junk. At 130,000 miles I finally had enough. Could not make it a full month without working on it. I sold it and it was back for sale within two months
Lol cool interior with a awesome screen and 105 less horsepower and 200 ft lb less torque than 2020 power Stroke F-250 along with 19.0:1 compression ratio instead of 16.2:1 on High Output and also a junk 68RFE 6 speed transmission instead of a 10 speed like Duramax and Power Stroke. If you get a Ram definitely advise 3500 High Output because of the better compression ratio and better Aisin transmission
L W look up dyno numbers for the 2020 powerstroke vs the Cummins. Cummins has 100 more torque to the wheels when all is said and done.
King Keefy Lol since when is 896 ft lb to the wheels that Firepunk got on his high output Cummins 100 more than 972.9 ft lb that 2020 Power Stroke put to the wheels at 5 star tuning? 2019 PS actually put down more torque to the wheel already than high output Cummins at 901 ft lb rwhp. Actually the HO cummins has 400hp and 1000lb ft and the ford has 1050tq and 475hp preety big difference but not that extreme it's a better motor but the rest is garbage even though it's really nice... rams look good but arnt the best for tranny front ends steering.. quality control etc

Andrew Dulin It turns it on whatever side your blinker is blinking on to illuminate that side of the road. The fog lights are insanely bright. I can spot deer 100ft off the highway in the woods while going 70 when I have mine on in my 2019 Longhorn spec’d out to a Limited, but with 2-tone interior. This truck is a beast

Yup. Ram hands down. It won truck of the year, second year in a row. I have a 2019 Ram dually Longhorn spec’d out to Limited specs, but with a 2-tone interior. Wanted that more than the all black interior.
Everything about the truck is amazing you won’t be disappointed. I just put 17k miles on it in 2 months 😁
Terrible fuckin deal... better off to find loaded Laramie 19 - way more motivated to move it, price is instantly slashed based on being a "year" old, and you skip some of the BS gimmicky garbage on the Limited. And get a real truck - 3500 HO LB... short beds are for women.
